Ink & Share Blog Hop - Spring

Welcome to April's Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog

This month the theme is

     Spring

You may have joined me from Rochelle's  blog or perhaps you are starting you journey here with me, I hope that you like our creations and the they give you inspiration as you hop around the world.

For my layout I'm sharing with you some of the new products in the upcoming annual catalog (which goes live on the 4th May) The NEW Incolours - Soft Succulent, Evening Everygreen, Freesia Frenzy and a couple of items from the Pansy Petals suite - Pansy Dies, Pansy Petals DSP. Along with Dragonfly Garden stamp set, Birds & More Dies and Layering Circles Dies.

As soon as I saw the Pansy Petals suite - I knew I had to purchase this as Pansy's are my husbands favourite flowers. (being able to pre purchase is one of the perks of being a demonstrator).

Having been to the garden centre I was eager to get them planted out... and even more surprised as he offered to help me plant them out (usually that gets left to me) so I had to take  a photograph to mark the occasion.

Firstly I sponged the area where the photograph was being placed using the new blending blushes, splatted some Melon Mango ink before die cutting the other elements from the Pansy Petal DSP and Evergreen card stock using the Birds & More Dies.

Once I was happy with the arrangement I adhered them down adding some dimension to the butterflies and the odd pansy before stamping the words from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.

I hope you like the layout that I have shared with you using this month's theme  Supplies used to create this can be ordered via my Online store here some items won't be available until the 4th May.

Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop - Sketch

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Monthly Blog Hop .....this months theme is

"a Sketch challenge"

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Dana's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

I was so excited when I saw this months theme as I do like a card with a challenge, for my card I decided to use products from the Peony Garden Suite - Prized Peony stamp set, Peony Dies (available as bundle saving you an extra 10%) and the Peony Garden DSP.

Having googled the colours that Peony's could be I decided that I would like my card to bright and vibrant so chose one of the 20-22 Incolours Magenta Madness

I even stepped out of my comfort zone and stamped the sentiment onto the Peony Garden DSP.

I hope you like the card that I have shared with you using this month's theme.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create these cards can be ordered via my Online store hereDon't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me.

Colour Combo Blog Hop - April

Welcome to  April's Colour Combo Blog Hop of 2021, using the colours shown above - Cherry Cobbler, So Saffron and Old Olive.

You may have just visited Elisabeth's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration with this months colours.

I created to cards using this months colours using the Jar of Flowers stamp set and coordinating  Jar Punch - which are available to purchase as a bundle with a saving of 10%

Although they are on the retiring list thats because when they come back in the 2021-2022 catalogue you won't be able to get them with the bundle discount, so ensure you order yours to take advantage of the discount.

I used Stampin' Blends to colour the flowers, and didn't put any water in the "jars" (I love the effect of these reversible stamps for doing this).   I've used two different embossing folders to create the difference's to the cards- Greenery and Ornate Floral.  I can't decide which one I like better, please let me know which is your favourite background?

I hope you like the cards that I have shared with you using this month's colours.  Supplies used to create this can be ordered via my Online store here

Remember to use this months hostess code, which can be found in the side bar to receive a little something for me if your order is under £150.
