Welcome to the first Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog hop of 2021.
This month the theme was
" FREE CHOICE "
as long as the products are in the Annual, Mini or Sale a Bration Catalogues.
As you can imagine that's a lot to choose from!!!
I choose to play with a suite that I haven't played with a lot the Peony Garden. I love the papers and wanted to show them off which I think I managed to so with this layout.
The Peony Garden DSP is soft and muted - Petal Pink, Gray Granite and Basic Gray. When colouring the images from the Prized Peony Stamp set I wanted to keep these colours and just added some Old Olive when colouring in the leaves and stems of the flowers with Stampin' Blends.

I've been playing again with the Flower & Field Designer Series Papers from this year's Sale A Bration offerings. I think this item is my favourite this year I love the bright colours on the black back grounds !!!
For this card I have paired it with the Stitched So Sweetly and Forever Flourishing Dies and the stamp set A Grand Kid. I was inspired by a fun fold I saw out there in blog land.
I cut out one Stitched so Sweetly shapes in black card stock and embossed the sentiment with white Embossing Powder.

I've been working with one of the new stamp sets in the new MINI catalogue - Treasures of Life and and paired it with one of the Sale A Bration FREE packs of DSP - Flower & Field
The reason I created this card was my neighbour was taken in on New Years eve to have her baby, her labour was a long one and her little bundle of joy arrived on the 2nd at 11.30 am weighing 5lb. Although I haven't been able to cuddle her I've been able to a have a window visit, she's so sweet.
Using the largest square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits, I stamped the main focal image. Then using a selection of Stampin' Blends coloured this in.
I stamped one of the sentiments out twice and using my Paper Snips cut them out, raising them on Stampin' Dimensional's.
This pack of paper is my favourite from this years Sale a Bration collection.

For my card I wanted to play with one of stamp sets that I haven't yet got around to inking up - and I bet that I'm not the only one who has a couple laying around like that !!
I kept the colour of my card neutral - basic gray and whisper white, and sponged the edges of the white so it wasn't so harsh.
