Ink.Stamp.Share Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Monthly Blog Hop .....this months theme is

"Christmas in July"

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Cindy's  blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

We're having a mini heat wave here in the UK at the moment, so it seems really strange creating Christmas cards at the moment.

For my card I've used  a strip of dsp from the Painted Christmas collection from  the upcoming Mini Catalogue, along with the gorgeous Be Dazzling Specialty Paper from the new Sale A Bration offerings coming up in August to end of September.  And from the annual Catalogue - Bark Embossing folder and the Evergreen Elegance stamp set.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create this card can be ordered via my Online store here.  Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me, if you order is under £150.

Ink.Stamp.Share Showcase Blog Hop - July

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Showcase Blog Hop .....the purpose of this hop is to show you what we have all been working on during the month.

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Cindy's  blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

For my showcase project I'm going to share with you is a card I made using the ?? Designer Series Paper - did you know that this month a selection of papers have 15% off them this is one of them, for more information please click here

For this card I have used four different sheets of the DSP and paired it up with the coordinating dies and stamp set, as some of the dies match the images of the DSP... isn't that fab.

The sentiment has been stamped using one of the new incolours - Evergreen Elegance from the Pansy Patch stamp set and cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. To finish this card off I added on of the Bumblebee Trinkers aren't they cute and added Matt Black Dots to the Pansy's centres.

As I had used pattern paper inside the card, I cut another rectangle shape from the Stitched So Sweetly dies so that I could write a message in for the recipient.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create this card can be ordered via my Online store here.
Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me should your order be under £150.

Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop - "Case the Catty"

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Monthly Blog Hop .....this months theme is

"Case the Catty"

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Annette's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

My understanding of CASE is Copy And Share Everything

I have chosen to case the card on page 64 using the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp set and coordinating dies.

Using the confetti/ribbon stamp I stamp the matt layer in the same colour ink - Polished Pink, one of my favorite new Incolors and I'm not a pinky person.

I then stamped the chick image with the balloon, in Smoky Slate Ink before using my Wink of Stella  Glitter Brush to pick up the Polished Pink ink to give the balloon some sparkle.

Then I used my watercolour pencils to give the chick its feather colours - basic black and basic gray. . Having adhered the image to the matt layer I then die cut the Happy Birthday in Basic Black Card stock having adhered that to some foam adhesive sheet to give it some depth.

For the finishing touches I added some Matte Black Dots.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create this card can be ordered via my Online store here.  Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me, if you order is under £150.

Ink.Stamp.Share Show Case Blog Hop - June

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Showcase Blog Hop .....the purpose of this hop is to show you what we have all been working on during the month.

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from  Jo's  blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

For my showcase project I'm going to share with you is a project I made using the Turtle Friends stamp set, this is available in a bundle with a coordinating punch for the larger turtle (which would save you 10% of the purchase price) but for my project I paired the stamp set with the Picture This Dies.

Firstly having cut the circle's from the Picture This Die set on a piece of Basic White card stock, I drew round the holes lightly with a pencil onto another piece of white card stock so I knew where I was stamping the images and sentiment.

The circles that are die cut out I have saved for another project...... so they won't be wasted.

When adhering these to layers together I used Stampin' Dimensionals I'm not sure whether you can see this from the photograph.

The Turtle's are stamped in Evening Evergreen, one of this years Incolours and coloured in using the Light Granny Apple Stampin' Blends. And as your never sure whether it'll be a boy or a girl, I made one of each - Balmy Blue and Blushing Bride

Being only able to sit and craft for 20 minutes at a still at the moment due to Spinal surgery, I found that this card I could do a little, go have a rest and then come back to them.. so they took me a couple of days to complete but I'm really pleased how they turned out.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create these cards can be ordered via my Online store here.  Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me, if your order is under £150.

"Something New"

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Kim's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

I was so excited when I saw this months theme especially as there is so much to choose from in the new annual catalogue which went live on the 4th May.

For my card I have chosen to showcase the Color & Contour Bundle and paired it with the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP.

Having die cut a piece of basic white card stock using the scalloped edge die from the collection.

I then stamped the floral image, sentiment and background in Basic Gray ink. Then added color to the floral image using Fresh Freesia one of this years Incolors

To finish the card of I added some gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim pack and some 2021-2023 In color Jewels.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create this card can be ordered via my Online store here.  Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me if your order is under £150

Ink & Share Blog Hop - Sketch

Welcome to May's Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog

This month the  we have a sketch for the theme

You may have joined me from Dorothea's  blog or perhaps you are starting you journey here with me, I hope that you like our creations and the they give you inspiration as you hop around the world.

This month I am sharing with you the layout created by Michelle, who at the moment is "Blogless" something we're hoping to change real soon.

Michelle kindly agreed for me to showcase her work knowing that I would be out of action for a wee while due to Spinal Surgery.

Michelle has showcased the lovely new **Pattern Party 12x12 Host Designer Series Paper for this sketch.

These papers are colourful on one side and the reverse are all black and white..... I can't wait to play with my pack

Having chosen the papers and photographs Michelle tied these all together by stamping out 3 flowers using the new Color & Contour stamp set and die cutting them using the Scalloped Contour Dies (when bought together as a bundle you'll save an extra 10%)

Can you see where Michelle has used the Tailored Tag Punch??

I hope you like the layout that I have shared with you on behalf of Michelle, using this month's Sketch.  Supplies used to create this layout can be ordered via my Online store here. ** the Pattern Party DSP is available as a reward for orders over £150  - if you'd like to host an online workshop for you and your friends with a make and take included please do contact me.

Be sure to use this months hostess code, which can be found in the side bar to receive a little something for me if your order is under £150.

Please remember to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what Karen has created using this months theme.

Ink.Stamp.Share - Showcase Blog Hop May

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Showcase Blog Hop .....the purpose of this hop is to show you what we have all been working on during the month.

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Kim's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

For my showcase project I'm going to share with you is a project I made using the Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Kit, which is only available whilst stocks last.

I love these kits as everything is included to make a minimum number of cards  (9 in this one) but you can adjust and add extra card stock and create loads more. So here's  an alternative card I made with this kit.

Firstly I cut one of the note cards included in half and adhered it to a white card base. Then deconstructing an envelope I matt and layered a strip of this to the notecard. Having stamped the Bouquet image out on a stitched square die I then used my
Stampin' Blends to colour.

To finish the card off I add some sequins that come in with the kit and a sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create this card can be ordered via my Online store here.  Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me.

Ink & Share Blog Hop - Spring

Welcome to April's Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog

This month the theme is

     Spring

You may have joined me from Rochelle's  blog or perhaps you are starting you journey here with me, I hope that you like our creations and the they give you inspiration as you hop around the world.

For my layout I'm sharing with you some of the new products in the upcoming annual catalog (which goes live on the 4th May) The NEW Incolours - Soft Succulent, Evening Everygreen, Freesia Frenzy and a couple of items from the Pansy Petals suite - Pansy Dies, Pansy Petals DSP. Along with Dragonfly Garden stamp set, Birds & More Dies and Layering Circles Dies.

As soon as I saw the Pansy Petals suite - I knew I had to purchase this as Pansy's are my husbands favourite flowers. (being able to pre purchase is one of the perks of being a demonstrator).

Having been to the garden centre I was eager to get them planted out... and even more surprised as he offered to help me plant them out (usually that gets left to me) so I had to take  a photograph to mark the occasion.

Firstly I sponged the area where the photograph was being placed using the new blending blushes, splatted some Melon Mango ink before die cutting the other elements from the Pansy Petal DSP and Evergreen card stock using the Birds & More Dies.

Once I was happy with the arrangement I adhered them down adding some dimension to the butterflies and the odd pansy before stamping the words from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.

I hope you like the layout that I have shared with you using this month's theme  Supplies used to create this can be ordered via my Online store here some items won't be available until the 4th May.

Remember to use this months hostess code, which can be found in the side bar to receive a little something for me if your order is under £150.

Please remember to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what  Heike has created using this months theme.
