Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop - Embossing

Welcome to June's Ink & Share Blog hop this month's theme is

                          " EMBOSSING "

this could be dry embossing, embossing powder or even embossing paste the choice was ours.

You may have joined me from Cindy's  blog or perhaps you are starting you journey here with me, I hope that you like our creations and the they give you inspiration as you hop around the world.

I thought it would be apt to use some of the stamps from the Swirly Frames stamset as they went with the photograph I wanted to use.  I still have to pop my title on "In Stitches". I stamped the shapes using - Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Perfect Posy.

I choose to use embossing paste on my layout. However I went to use my shimmery one but it was rock hard - guess I didn't seal it properly!! so I grabbed my Silicone Craft Sheet  popped a blob of my White Embossing paste using one of my Palette Knives, I added some Dazzling Diamonds until I was happy with the mix. Not sure the pictures will pick this up and it really pops my page.

My layout was still not feeling quite right so using my daubers I sponged over the embossing paste with the inks and it pulled the page together, especially as I added some memento's to the page - my wine charm gift and wedding favour bag (it was filled with Parma Violets guess who ate them? Eli his favourite)

I  hope you liked the scrapbook page I've shared with you -  supplies used  to created this, can be ordered via my Online store here. Remember to use this months hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me if your order is under £150.

Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop - June

Welcome to June's  Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop. The  projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world. The theme for this month's blog hop is  "New Products"

You may have joined me from Tricia's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

I'm sharing with you the card I made for my husband's birthday yesterday - it uses products from the World of Good Suite - Beautiful World Bundle which comprises of the Beautiful World stamp set and World Map Dies and the Old World 3D Embossing folder.

Firstly I ran Very Vanilla card stock through the Old World 3D Embossing folder... its depth is fab. I then sponged this using Sea Spray, Sahara Sand and Cinnamon Cider Ink, before adhering this to a matt layer of Early Espresso card stock.

I then cut 2 of the globes and stands out before adhering them to the card base. The sentiment is from the Blossom in Bloom stamp set.

I  hope you like the cards that I've shared with you - all supplies used  to created this can be ordered via my Online store here

Remember to use the current months hostess code, which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me if your order is under £150.

Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping around to see everyone's creations, Kristie is next.

Welcome to June's Paper Crafting blog hop with the lovely ladies from the Paper Crafting Blog Hop group.

Fellow demonstrators and myself from all over the globe are participating so we're sure to have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! using this months theme " Happy Birthday"

You may have just visited Sandy's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

I needed to make a birthday card so this hop's theme came along just a the right time, I was thinking of using some new product but stopped
and thought that maybe I should just remember my pre loved stamps that have been gathering a little dust.

So I dusted of my Butterfly Wishes stamp set grabbed 3 colours of ink - Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Pear Pizzazz, my paper snips and viola!! This is the result.

I liked it so much that I made a second but decided to leave it without a sentiment, as I can add one to fit the occasion I need.

I do hope you like the card that I've shared with you for this months hop, all supplies used  to created this can be ordered via my Online store here.

Roll Call

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #381

This weekend I managed to find time to create a sample for this weeks
Paper Craft Crew Challenge. I'll be glad when I get back to some sort of normality at work and can craft on a more regular basis, I miss my ladies at class.

This week it's sketch #PCC381

Having thought about the sketch I reached for the Free As A Bird stamp set and stamped a couple of images up using memento ink and coloured them in using my watercolour pencils.

Using a strip of Magenta Madness and Granny Apple Green behind my images really made them pop especailly as I mounted them on a Basic Gray matt. Not wanting adhere this to a plain piece of white card stock I ran it through my big shot using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  I then stamped some of the leaves and fussy cut them before slipping them in behind the image.

Did you notice that I had two images, stamped and coloured?? well here is a picture with the second card, I just chose to flip my card on its side. what do you think??  I can't make my mind up as to which one I prefer....

Why not join in the fun with this weeks Paper Craft Crew Challenge??
Check out the rest of the Design Team’s creative inspirations back at the Paper Craft Crew Challenge page and play along this week by submitting your own handmade creation HERE.

I hope you like my take my take on this week's sketch.........

Colour Combo Blog Hop - June

Welcome to  June's Colour Combo Blog Hop, using the colours shown above -

You may have just visited Elisabeth's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration with this months colours.

Well this was really hard for me to decide what I stamp set I was going to use as I have to say that Flirty Flamingo is not one of my go to colours!!

I setteled for a stamp set that was on my craft desk, from last weekend - Healing Hugs

I started my stamping some of the solid leaves, before cutting them out with my paper snips.

I then inked up the rose in Daffodil Delight and using a dauber sponged the edges with Flirty Flamingo ink, before cutting these out as well (shame this set has not punch or dies).

Having roughly placed theses pieces down on my whisper white matt layer, then stamped some of the patterns in Flirty Flamingo stamped off and some of the lined leaves.  When I was happy as it took me two attempts so I could see them just popping out from under the roses. I then adhered this to a piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock before the Base Card.

I hope you like the card that I have shared with you using this month's colours  - supplies used to create them can be ordered via my Online store here and don't forget to use this months hostess code, which can be found in the Side Bar.

Ink.Stamp.Share Special Blog Hop - June

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Special Blog Hop..... the theme for this Special Hop is

"ANYTHING GOES"

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Jo's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

I'm sharing with you some little gift bags made using this years Incolour collection of Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight. I remember making and demonstrating how to make these when I first become a demonstrator 11 years ago, its nice to revisit previous projects.

After scoring and folding the 6X6 designer series papers, I then cut the largest Circle from the  Stitched Shape Framelits, out in coordinating cardstock. Added a sentiment from the Beauty Abounds stampset before adhereing a daisy using the Medium Daisy Punch with glue dots. For the centre of the Daisies I have used the Champagne Rhinestones (I'm glad they carried over in this catalaogue).

I

'm having a hard time deciding which is my favourite new Incolour, which is yours? Please let me know by leaving a comment below.

Supplies used to create this card be ordered via my Online store here.  Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me.
