Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop - December

Welcome to December's  Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop. The  projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world. The theme for this month's blog hop is

"use something new from the Spring/Summer catalogue and/or SAB"

You may have joined me from Annette's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

I have chosen one of the new million dollar achievers stamps set -
Happy Thoughts and paired this with the Ornate Layers dies.  Having stamped the sentiment and die cutting it out,  I chose to showcase one the papers from the Flower & Field DSP collection from the upcoming Sale A Bration offerings.
Flower & Field DSP

To add some dimension to the card I stamped some of the flowers form the
Beautiful Friendship stamp set with the Midnight Muse ink. To finish this off (I don't think my photograph picks this up) I went over ALL the flowers - even on the DSP with my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush

If you purchased the Ornate Layers dies and the Happy Thoughts/Beautiful Friendship stamp set you would be able to earn the papers for FREE

I hope you like the card that I've shared with you - supplies used  to created this can be ordered via my Online store here

Remember to use the current months hostess code, which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me if your order is under £150.

If you don't have a demonstrator and would like a copy of the upcoming mini and SAB catologues please do contact me and I'll be more than happy to pop one in the post for you. And if your not sure how sale a bration works then I'll be more than happy to explain.

Had a Hoot!!!

I had a real "hoot" making these commissioned cards which use the Have a Hoot stamp set and the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.                                                                                                                                           Using Memento Ink on a Layering Circle cut from Vellum cardstock I stamped the pair of owls, then stamped them again and coloured them using Stampin' Blends.                                                                                                                            Adding the lovely sheer ribbon I made them into baubles. Before placing them on a matt of whisper white card stock embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.

I hope the recipients liked them.

Supplies used  to created this card, can be ordered via my Online store here. Please remember some of the items used on this layout can be found in the Winter Mini Catalogue which ends real soon so hurry before they go out of stock!!

Don't forget to use this months hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me if your order is under £150.

Frank and I were so excited to met SJ again and having for hugs with him.

I paired by photographs with the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set and Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper to create this double page spread.  I also used the Stitched Triangle dies to create the tree's the one white one on the right page is just waiting for me to add my journaling.

Colour Combo Blog Hop - December

Welcome to  Decembers's Colour Combo Blog Hop, using the colours shown above -  Gray Granite, Real Red and Cinnamon Cider

You may have just visited Elisabeth's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration with this months colours.

When I first saw this colour combination I immediately thought of Christmas - not sure why though.  So I reached for my Forever Fern Stamp set and coordinating dies Forever Flourishing Dies from the Forever Greenery Suite.

Firstly I stamped some of the leaves in Cinnamon Cider both - first and second generation stamping and some berry's and the littlest leaves in Real Red. I then cut these out using the coordinating dies and one of the leaf flourishes in Whisper White Card stock. When I was happy with my arrangement I glued them together and put them to one side whilst I set about the base of the card.

For the base I used Real Red and a matt layer of whisper white, to pull the colours together I cut out a large rectangle out of the whisper white and added in a Gray Granite one. It really shows off the beauty of the edges on these dies.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set.

I hope you like the card that I have shared with you using this month's colours.  Supplies used to create this can be ordered via my Online store here ,

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

It's been a while since I have posted regularly on a Sunday - so I have set myself a challenge to revive my Scrapbookin' On Sunday blog posts.

So this week I'd like to share with you a layout I created using my "Joy to the World" Paper pumpkin kit. It's not very often we get paper pumpkins this side of the puddle but boy this one is just FANTASTIC - I created (by adding a few extras) a total of 16 cards and this scrapbook layout from just one kit.   So really worth the £20

To create the word "YOU" I cut up some of the foil words I didn't use on the cards.

I hope you like what I have shared with you today, be sure to pop by next week to see another Scrapbook layout.

Supplies used to created these cards can be ordered via my Online store here.
Please remember to use this months hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me, if your order is under £150

Ink.Stamp.Share - Blog Hop November

Welcome to November's  Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop. The  projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world. The theme for this month's blog hop is

 "Christmas Tree Decoration"
(anything you can hang from the tree could be a bauble, box, gift....)

You may have joined me from Alison's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

For my take on this theme I dug out my Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Die, to create two different decorations that can be hung on the tree -

This one is aimed for the younger members or BIG kids of the family and also uses Layering Oval framelits and the Sprig Punch

This second one is made using a sheet out of the 'Tis The Season 6x6 DSP and the Holly image from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set, coloured using Stampin' Blends.

All that remains now, is for me to get the tree down from the loft and start decorating it. Must remember not to put these to near the lights or the contents of these decorations might get spoilt.

I  hope you like the decorations that I've shared with you - all supplies used  to created this can be ordered via my Online store here

Remember to use the current months hostess code, which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me if your order is under £150.

Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop - November

Welcome to Novembers's Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog hop this months theme is to create a layout using this photograph for inspiration

You may have joined me from Cindy's blog or perhaps you are starting you journey here with me, I hope that you like our creations and the they give you inspiration as you hop around the world.

My layout is ready to have a photo added from this years celebrations!! it won't be the same as last year as my middle daughter and her family won't be here they will be having their first Christmas in Malaysia, but I'm sure we'll be facetiming them when we're not working (hubby and I both drew the short straw and are working over Christmas)

This is one of the layouts I designed for my online retreat using the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Papers.  Knowing that I wanted to use a coloured base for this layout I used a border punch from my stash on a piece of Whisper White card stock and built the layout up from this. I then added a 12" x 1 1/2" strip of the red and white stripped paper.  Then I cut 6 squares from 3 different sheets of paper and corner rounded them. and laid them on the base leaving space for a larger photograph.

To finish the layout I added some baubles using the stamps from the returning Christmas Gleaming stamp set and coordinating Gleaming Ornaments Punch. A couple of sprigs of holly coloured using Stampin' Blends and a bow using the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon.

I  hope you liked the scrapbook page I've shared with you - most of the supplies used  to create this, can be ordered via my Online store here

Remember to use this months hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me if your order is under £150.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop - November

Welcome to November  Paper Crafting blog hop with the lovely ladies from the Paper Crafting Blog Hop group.

Fellow demonstrators and myself from all over the globe are participating so we're sure to have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! using this months theme "December Holidays"

You may have just visited Sandra's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

For my December Holiday's I'm sharing with you some cards that I made with the "Joy to the World" Paper Pumpkin kit... So love it when Stampin' Up! releases them over here in Europe.

These first two cards are from the instructions that come within the kit you can make 4 of each of these, but I only made one of each with the rest of the kit I made a total of 16 cards and a scrapbook page (with a little added card stock I have to say)

These other two cards use the layering ovals I cut the center out of on of the cards and stamped the sentiment in Just Jade.

Using the center as a focal point on the other card I stamped out some flowers in Cherry Cobbler and pulled the colour with my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. Then added some Gold Foil Foliage before adhering it all together. I'm just loving the new Banners Pick a Punch that I've used with the sentiment on this card, so many possibilities - 6 in total!!

I do hope you like the cards that I've shared with you for this months hop.

Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what Carol has created using this months theme.
