Ink & Share Scrapbook Hop - New Papers

Welcome to February's Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop.

The theme chosen for this month's theme is "New Papers" which meant we could create any layouts using any of the New Designer Series Papers which can be found in the New spring/summer catalogues or any of the papers from this years Sale a Bration offerings too.

You may have joined me from Jo's blog or perhaps you are starting you journey here with me, I hope that you like our creations and the they give you inspiration as you hop around the world.

For my layout I have chosen to share with you one of the layouts I created for this hop and also taught at my scrapbook class this month using the All My Love Designer Series Paper from the All My Love Suite.

I decided that I would challenge them to incorporate some stitching on their page - and they all accepted the challenge and where really happy at using the sewing machine.

So after cutting and sticking 2 strips of All My Love DSP they stictched on a length of the All My Love Ribbon.

Then using the the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies cut out three different Hearts, a cluster of hearts and the long stitched edging (which is popped just behind the ribbon)

To finish the layout I added some Heart Epoxy Droplets coloured using my Stampin' Blends and fussy cut the sentiment stamped from the Forever Lovely set.

I haven't yet put a photo on the layout as it's ready for one of my new arrivals due in May and June.

I hope you like my layout using this months theme - supplies used to create this layout can be ordered via my Online store here. Remember for every £45 you spend in either the Annual or New Spring/Summer catalogue you get to choose a FREE Sale a Bration item.

Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what Cheryl has created using this theme.

Ink.Stamp.Share - Blog Hop

Welcome to  back to Ink Stamp Share's February blog hop.

The  projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

The theme for this month's blog hop is Sale A Bration.

I'm also combining my hop  card with a Sketch Challenge that can be found over at the Paper Craft Crew Challenge page here with PCC327

You may have joined me from Laura's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

My card uses a stamp set from the 1st release of Sale a Bration items - Lovely Lattice and the Designer Series Paper from The Painted Seasons Bundle from the second release of items.

Firstly I stamped the flowers out from the Lovely Lattice stamp set, coloured them in using the Pool Party, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight  Stampin' Blends before fussy cutting them out.

As I couldn't decide which contrasting colour I wanted Coastal Cabana or Bermuda Bay I decided  I would make one up in both of the colours and I still can't deiced which one I like best - perhaps you can tell me your favourite one, in the comments below.

I've stamped the sentiment from Humming Along on my Bermuda Bay card and left the other one blank for any occasion card.

I  hope you've liked what I've shared with you - all supplies used  to created these cards can be ordered via my Online store here. and remember for every £45 you spend in either the Annual or New Spring/Summer catalogue you get to choose a FREE Sale a Bration item.

Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping around to see everyone's creations, Linda's is next and in case the chain breaks I've posted a roll call below

Paper Crafting Blog Hop - February

Welcome to February's blog hop with the lovely ladies from the Paper Crafting Blog Hop group.

Fellow demonstrators and myself from all over the globe are participating so we're sure to have a wide array of fun projects to share with you!  using this months theme of SALE A BRATION

You may have just visited Sandy's  blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

I'm sharing with you one of my WOW cards from my all day workshop this month, showcasing the New Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder just one of the 2nd release Sale A Bration items along with the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper and items from the Butterfly Gala Suite.

My ladies had asked me to revisit and refresh their memories of how to create a "card in a box" so I thought I'd make them a butterfly garden and at the same time showcase all the different ways that the butterflies from the butterfly gala stamp set could be coloured - sponging, rock n roll technique, Stampin' Blends, Stampin' Write Markers, water coloured or just punched from  cardstock or from the Botanical DSP from the first Sale a Bration release.

The best thing is this card folds flat and goes in an ordinary sized envelope.

This card was a win win with my ladies.

I do hope you like the card I've made for this months hop. Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what Anastasia has created for this months theme.

All the supplies used may be ordered through my online store here , remember for every £45 you spend in either the Annual or New Spring/Summer catalogue you get to choose a FREE sale a bration item.

Sketch Challenge PCC326

It's been along time since I've taken part in any sketch challenge's so I thought I'd have a play along with the one over on The Paper Craft Crew Challenges page.

Having just unpacked the new Sale A Bration  Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I was really keen to use it with this sketch, in fact it has ended up as my focal piece.

I embossed a piece of Whisper White card stock and then used my Stampin' Blends to colour the embossed flowers and leaves - the texture is so detailed it's very realistic I'm not sure the photograph does the embossing folder justice.

I embossed the Butterflies using ink and clear embossing powder on Vellum before punching them out with the Butterfly Duet Punch. The sequins are also from the Butterfly Gala Suite.

and to finish the card off I've used the lush Polka Dot ribbon.

I do hope that you like my take on the PCC326 sketch and I do look forward to playing along again real soon.

Colour Combo Blog Hop - February

Welcome to February's Colour Combo Blog Hop

You may have just visited Pia's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration with this months colours.

For this months's colour theme I chose to showcase another of this years Sale A Bration stamp sets -
Lovely Lattice.

Firstly I stamped up two of the large floral image one my matt layer and another of just the flowers on a piece of scrap using, the Stampin' Blends in the 3 colours of this months combo I coloured in the image.                                                              I  then cut out the largest flower from the image I had stamped on to the scrap paper and layered it on to the one on the matt layer.  To give the main flower some depth.

I have purposely left a sentiment off from the card so I can add it when I need too...... as I often find myself needing a card for an occasion but have no cards with that sentiment on.

I hope you like my creation- all supplies used can be ordered via my Online store here.

Remember for every £45 you spend in either the Annual or New spring.Summer catalogue you get to choose a FREE sale a bration item - watch out for the second release of items on FRIDAY 15th February

Kre8tors Blog Hop - Valentines/Love

Welcome to the February's Kre8tors Blog Hop.  I know that you're going to find some great inspiration from the wonderfully creative Stampin' Up! demonstrators as you follow along with us.

You may have just visited  Linda's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

Seeing as we're hopping in February I think you can guess the theme we were given - Valentines/Love.

I had several ideas running around in my head as I have just came across the diagonal fold card, I'm loving the Sale A Bration stamp set - So Hoppy Together and I had the stamps on my desk from the All My Love Suite - Forever Lovely as I had been preparing my Scrapbook class for later this month and came up with these creations.

The lovely thing about the diagonal fold card is you get 2 cards for the price of 1. As you can see from the photographs below the matt layers go on the opposite side of the second card.

Here my matt layers are from this years incolour 6 x 6 paperstack and a piece of Whisper White card stock stamped around the outside with the DistINKtive  hearts from the Forever Lovely set in Lovely Lipstick ink.

Using Stampin' Blends I coloured in the Frog from - So Hoppy Together and 2 of the clear Heart Epoxy Droplets and placed them in the Froggies hands.  I added the sentiments to the first card using the Stampin' Write Markers  from 2 different stamp sets and the second one using a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greeting.

To finish the cards off completely I added some hearts to the insert and a sentiment.

I hope you like the cards I've made for this months challenge - supplies used to create them can be ordered via my Online store here

Don't' forget for every £45 you spend in either the Annual or New Spring/Summer catalogue you get to choose a FREE Sale A Bration item - watch out for the second release of items on 15th February.

Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what Alexandra has created using this months theme.
