Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop - August

Welcome back to my second blog hop with these lovely ladies - this months theme  is "Numbers"

Bonjour!! if you have hopped on over from Valerie's Blog and a big Hello if your starting your journey with me, remember to complete the circle and see all the different pages scrapped using this months theme.

I thought I'd do a fun page of me and my friends taken last year at one of their 50th birthday party's!!

Having chosen which photograph I wanted to scrap, I immediately knew that I wanted to use this years in colours from Stampin' Up!

The title was made using the new Layering Alphabet Edgelits and I've already been told off by my daughter for not using a question mark.

Using the 2018-2020 incolor Blueberry Bushell I added some journalling to my page and embellished it with some Silver Foil balloons.

I  hope you like my fun page - all supplies used  to created this layout can be ordered via my Online store here

Scrapbooking Global August 2018 Blog Hop

Welcome back to the second Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop, we're a like minded group of scrapbooker's who love to use Stampin' Up!s products to create our pages.

You may be starting you journey here or joined me from Courtenay's Blog, remember to complete the circle and see all the creation using this months theme of "Memories & More"

I've created pages using the Best Route Memories & More Card Pack and Product Suite.

For these first 3 pages I've used some of the page protectors from the variety pack -

I've added embellishments from the Enamel Shapes available for this suite and some paper from the Best Route DSP pack.

I'll add the journalling to the cards before I pop them in my album.

For this last layout I have used the only the Memories & More Cards, Best Route Washi Tape and Best Route Enamel shapes  NO designer series paper - showing that these cards can you be used for traditional  scrapbooking as well !!

I  hope you like my pages - all supplies used  to created this layout can be ordered via my Online store here.

Here I've used the new colours Cajan Craze for the flower pot, Granny Apple Green on the leaves  and Gorgeous Grape for the flowers - Daffodil Delight and  Melon Mambo are from the first assortment which can be found in the annual catalogue.

Kre8tors Blog Hop - August

Thanks for joining me again for August's Kre8tors Blog Hop. I know that you're going to find some great inspiration from the wonderfully creative Stampin' Up! demonstrators as you follow along with us.

This months theme is Water - this could include lakes, rivers, rain, snow, ice but i went for a more obvious choice especially with the mini heatwave we're having over in the UK at the moment  "By The Sea"

You may have just visited  Tracy's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give  you inspiration for Water themed projects.

I started by choosing the photograph I've been wanting to scrap for ages, then grabbed the left over Tranquil Texture DSP from previous layouts that I have done with them along two stamp sets - High Tide and Sea of Textures which has coordinating framelits - Under the Sea

I've added dimension to the waves by placing Stampin' Dimensional under them, I'm not sure if the photograph has picked this up.  Can you spy my hidden journalling?
Yes pull this cute fella and hay presto ....

I hope you like my take on this " Theme " - *supplies used  to create this Scrapbook page can be ordered via my Online store here

Stamp 'N Hop

Welcome to my first blog hop with this creative group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world.

Each month they follow a theme and for August they have chosen "Masculine" - which some people tend to struggle with.

You may have just visited Tracy's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give  you inspiration for Masculine themed cards/projects

Having three brothers and knowing their habits I knew which stamps and framelits I was definitely going to purchase when it came out and I've used it for this hop - Bubble Over  and Bottles & Bubbles Framelits Dies

Here I've sponged the Very Vanilla  base with So saffron before stamping off the bubbles in the same colour, next I stamped of the water/ring marks in Cajan Craze.

The bottles I cut out again in Very Vanilla before sponging them with Gray Granite.

I then added some Copper  Metallic thread behind the bottles  and added a label on one of them using the Copper Foil.

Here's a slightly closer view for you..

I  hope you liked  my card - all the supplies used can be ordered via my Online store here

Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog Hop  this month we are featuring any Designer Series Paper featured in this years Annual Catalogue, the projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Lisa's Blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

I chose to play with the Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper, as they matched my photo's to hand from the other weekend when we had  Eli.

Using a 12x12 of Tranquil Tide Cardstock  cut out a frame using an electric cutting machine. I then layed my photos under the frames I wanted to use. I then repeated this process with the Designer Series Paper.

I so loved Eli's smile and giggles when Frank pushed him on the swing that I made  this a focal point on another layout as you can see here.

This time I matted the photograph on Tranquil Tide card stock. Using a stencil from my stash inked this up with Tranquil Tide ink.

And yes I'm being a bit lazy at the moment as I've still got my title and journalling to do.

I
hope you've liked what I've shared with you - all supplies used  to created these cards can be ordered via my Online store here

Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping around to see everyone's creations.

Colour Combo Blog Hop - August

Welcome  to  August's Colour Combo Blog Hop. I was slightly intrigued as how I was going to use this months choice of colours, especially  as Blackberry Bliss and Merry Merolt are both dark colours. Once I got my creative thinking cap my mind just kept on racing.

Welcome if you've just joined me from Elisabeth's blog and her lovely creations using this colour combo, hop back if you haven't or just continue around the hop and complete the circle.

As you can see from my finished card above I managed to tone down the colours down with my aqua painter.

Firstly I  wetted the Watercolour Paper before adding my colours - Pool Party, Merry Merlot and Blackberry Bliss (in that order). When I was happy with the results I used Chase Your Dreams Framelits to cut out feathers of varying sizes and the main dream catcher element.

I then arranged them on the card adhering with the Stampin' Up!s Fine-Tip Glue Pen, and added a few Pearls from the Share What you Love collection.

I hope you like my creation - all supplies used  to created this card can be ordered via my Online store here

Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what  Sandra  has created with this Color Combo :-)
