Scrapbookin' On Sunday

As soon as Lucy showed me the pictures of Eli on his visit to Nando's head office I knew exactly what I was going to do with them..

Which is why last weekend I shared with you some of the backgrounds I made using Brusho's.

I've even added the little cockerel from the wood word stamp set  in Early Espresso and cut it out using the co coordinating die.

June Blog Hop - Patriotic theme

I hope you are enjoying the Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop  - this month we are featuring projects that are patriotic to the country the demonstrator lives in.

I'm super excited as its my first time joining in with this hop with fellow demonstrators from all over the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, I'm sure we'll have a wide array of fun projects to share with you!

You may have arrived from Anastasia's blog. She had a fabulous project!

As soon as the theme was announced immedetialy I knew exactly which suite from the New Annual catalogue  - Tea Room and then thought how I could make it really patriotic - well having played with Stampin' Up!s Brusho's  last weekend everything fell into place nicely.

The stamp set Time for Tea comes with  coordinating dies - Spot of Tea  framelits and if purchased together as a bundle you'll save 10%. As the Brusho's come as a set of 5 for this project I just used the Brilliant Red and Prussian Blue (more details of how I made the background can be found here)

Please add a comment and let me know what you liked about my design.

Thanks for hopping with us. Now click on the next image to zoom to Karie's blog to see what fun ideas she designed.

1st Birthday ..........

Here's a couple of card's made using the A Little Wild stamp set along with 2 of the new incolours - Pineapple Punch, Lovely Lipstick and a new colour Granite Grey.

I stupidly forgot to order the Lovely Lipstick grosgrain Ribbon what lucky as I had some of the Sheer Ribbon in white and coloured it using my lovely lipstick marker pen - using this method I can have any colour ribbon I want at my hands .

This stamp set does have  coordinating dies which can be found on p218 of the annual catalogue, they make cute tags.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday - Colourful Crystals

Today I’m sharing with you some backgrounds that I’ve made using
Stampin’ Up! s Brushos collection which can be found on page 202 of the NEW annual catalogue.

This first one uses all 5 colours - to create the effect on this page I tapped out the colours before spritzing with water.

On this second one I firstly spritzed the cardstock tapped over with the Moss Green colour powder before respritzing with water.

I just love that no 2 backgrounds will turn out the same.

Please do pop back next week so see the creations I make with these backgrounds meanwhile

Colour Combo Blog Hop - June 2018

Welcome to my first hop with Colour Combo Blog Hop.

I am so excited to be a part of colour challenges as they make you use colours you wouldn't normally use together,  this month we are using a returning colour  - Blackberry Bliss along with a New Colour - Petal Pink and a trusted favourite Crumb Cake.

Welcome if you've just joined me from Sandra's Stamp & Craft Studio and her lovely creation.

I chose the new stamp set Accented Blooms to showcase this colour combination it also co ordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch which carried over from the Spring/Summer catalogue. I did two samples one on Whisper White and the other on Very Vanilla.

Firstly I stamped the flower image with Memento Ink and using my blender pen lifted the colour from the lid of the ink pad and coloured the images in.

I added a wink of stella to some of the flowers (unfortunately the photo doesn't pick this up)  I hope you like my creation.

Please click on the Next button to hop on over to Tricia's blog and see her creations using this colour combination.
