Scrapbookin' On Sunday

As promised I'm back with a scrapbook page this week - and guess what it's the birthday girl her self!!

She may kill me when's she's back this side of the world as I'm scrapping a photo she went whilst we we're chatting over Whats App one day.   

The page is almost finished it just needs a title where I've placed my digital signature.

I've used the Whole Lot Of Lovely Designer Series papers: adding texture by roughing up the edges of the papers and using Embossing Paste and  Decorative Masks coloured with re inkers.

I really miss seeing that cheeky smile and can't wait for them to come back this summer... all be their be flitting here there and everywhere.

Remember this designer series paper and any others in the both the current catalogues will be retiring and only avaliable whilst stocks last so be sure to pop on over and check out the Last Chance list before its to late.

Bird Banter #2

I made this fun card a few weeks ago for as part of a card kit for a charity event I was running. 

I thought I'd post it as we were having a mini heat wave and the colours remind me soo  much of Summer time.... and look its been raining and been drab since then... here's hoping for better weather to come this way this summer.

Butterfly Birthday.....

I know I usually post a Scrapbook page on a Sunday but today I'm sharing  a card that I made with my daughter Amy in mind........Yes she's still living in Beijing and getting post out there is impossible.

And guess what it's her brithday today....Happy Birthday Amy!! hope your having fun

I made this before Stampin' Up! released their Last Chance List.. and sadly the  Watercolor Wings and Number of Years stamp sets are both on this along with some of the ink colours I've used - Tempting Turquoise and Pink Pirouette and the coordinating framelits.

Treat Yourself............

Sharing a card a quick card that my daughter and I made for her boyfriend...

She wanted to give her boyfriend some money as a present but wanted it to be fun so we rolled the notes up and added some flames and made them to look like candles.

I think it turned out really well, and he was pleased with it.

Bird Banter.........

I had real fun playing with this stamp set at the weekend and came up with this card incorporating  two challenges. 

Having stamped and coloured the images using a mixture of pens - Stampin' Write Markers and Blender pens. I then reached for the Picture Perfect DSP.  I'm not sure whether you can see it in the photo but the Bermuda Bay card stock is embossed with the Oh My Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

I still can't decide whether I prefer the Parrot or the Toucan on the card, which one is your favourite?? Please leave me a comment and let me know.

The sketch is from the Paper Craft Crew Challenge #286 and the other is from CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge  (a facebook group) which was to  case the Myths and Magic section , pages 36-43 of the Spring/Summer Catalogue  #CTC172

I can't wait to play with this little fellows again, but it'll be next week before I do as I'm off to Onstage with 500+ demonstrators this weekend.... getting a sneak peak of exciting things to come.
