Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop - " Embossing "

Welcome to December's Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop, the last one for 2018 - The theme chosen for this month's theme is "Embossing" which  meant we could use Embossing paste, Embossing Folders or Heat Embossing with powders.

You may have joined me from Jenna's blog or perhaps you are starting you journey here with me, I hope that you like our creations and the they give you inspiration as you hop around the world.

For my layout I chose to use two of the "Embossing" techniques - Heat embossing and Embossing Paste. I grabbed my shimmer embossing paste and a couple of re inkers  - and mixed them together until i got the shade I need to match my photograph and the papers that I had selected from the Garden Impressions 6x6 pack.  Then using one of the mask's from the Pattern Party set I spread this on my whisper white card stock.

Whilst this was drying I set about inking up some of images in the Butterfly Gala stamp set once I had heat embossed the image and watercoloured  it using inks and an Aqua Painter I punched the butterflies out using the Butterfly Duet Punch   these two item will be available as a bundle when the Spring/Summer * catalogue goes live on the 3rd January

Cutting several Circles of various sizes  from the DSP using the Layering Circle Framelits,  and my Photograph - I just hoped it didn't slip when I run it through the bigshot as I only had the one copy printed from my daughter's wedding last year  - can't believe its a year ago!!

I hope you like my layout using this months theme - supplies used to create this layout can be ordered via my Online store here

Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what Lisa has created using this theme.

Kre8tors Blog Hop - December

Thanks for joining me again for December's Kre8tors Blog Hop. I know that you're going to find some great inspiration from the wonderfully creative Stampin' Up! demonstrators as you follow along with us.

You may have just visited Sharon's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

This months theme is "Christmas"  so i'd like to share with you 2 cards that I've made.

This first one uses the "Merry Christmas To All" bundle from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue.

Having cut the word "Christmas" from Cherry Cobbler card stock I then inked up half of the word with Versa Mark ink and then heat embossed it with Gold Embossing powder.

Here is my second card which also has a gift panel which holds 3 tealights.

This second card features products from "Under the Mistletoe" suite -and also doubles as a present Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper and Mistletoe Season stamp set.

I hope you like the cards I've made for this Theme  - *supplies used to create this card can be ordered via my Online store here.

Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop - November

Welcome back to another Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop with these lovely ladies - this months theme  is "Love Your Selfie"

Hi and welcome if you have hopped on over from Jermin's Blog and a BIG Hello and welcome if your starting your journey here with me, remember to complete the circle and see all the different pages scrapped using this months theme.

Although it's not quite a "Selfie" it is a picture of me... and like most scrapbookers we tend not to scrap pictures of ourselves.

My fun photo was taken whilst I was in Amsterdam for Onstage live 18 months ago. I had seen this layout whilst browsing for sketches to use.

As we don’t have coordinating buttons for the 2017-2019 incolor collection I made my own using a variety of circle punches and creating a whole for the white bakers twine to go through before making them glossy.

I had great fun creating this layout... it’s great for using up scraps of paper.

I  hope you like my fun page - supplies used  to created this layout can be ordered via my Online store here

Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to  the next blog....

Thanks for passing by

Sue

Welcome back to another blog hop with this creative group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world.

This month's theme is - Case the Annual Catalogue, there where so many lovely projects to choose from.

You may have just visited Linda's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me.

I choose to case one of the cards on page 119  using the Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating dies  Petals & More.

I've changed some of the colours used in the catalogue the card base from Pool Party  to Balmy Blue, Old Olive to Granny Apple Green and Calypso Coral to Poppy Parade - to give my own twist on the project.

I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration to case projects and

Colour Combo Blog Hop - November

Welcome to November's Colour Combo Blog Hop.

You may have just visited Laura's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give  you inspiration with this months colours.

I chose an old favorite stamp set of mine - well it was one of the first stamps I bought nearly 10 years ago and is still in the Annual Catalog.

I've stamped the image in Basic grey on  crumb cake card stock and again several times on Very Vanilla.

I then decided which features of the tress I would like to make panels with and mounted them on to Soft Suede card stock.  Here's a closer look at the panel sections.

I hope you like my creations - all supplies used  to created this card can be ordered via my Online store here. Remember if you purchase any bundle you can save up to 10%

Celebrate

There are a few of us out there in the Stampin’ Up! World that do not have an upline…. Not through our own fault, it just means the person we signed up under has left – usually you would be passed on to their upline but in our cases they’ve left too.

We have group on Facebook and actively support each other and host a blog hop once a month… it’s a great family to have. As few of us where going to Onstage in Orlando we thought it would be really nice to meet up and have dinner and of course swap – it just had to be done.

I chose to make a card using Celebrate as the theme seeing as Stampin' Up! are celebrating their 30th

Be sure to pop back later to see the cards that I receive in return for these swaps.

Mean while happy Stampin'

Time for tea............

Time for Tea

Knowing that I was going to Onstage in Orlando, in the back of my mind I knew which stamp set I wanted to use to make my general swaps with and that I’d like to share a little bit of an English Tradition of tea drinking. I set about designing my swaps.

I came up with 3 different designs

This first one has a flap that tuck in behind the tea cup which some have been stamped and embossed with the copper embossing powder

This second one is a little envelope punch board which you slip the belly band off

And this third one is a fancy fold using a length of the Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper. if you'd like the measurements just contact me and I'll email it out to you

Be sure to pop back later this month when I’m back to see some of the swaps that I received in return.

Mean while happy Craftin'

Sue

Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop - Winter Holiday

Welcome to November's  Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog Hop, the theme chosen for this month is Winter Holiday.

And it seems really strange posting this as at the moment I'm in Orlando attending Onstage for Stampin' Up!s 30th anniversary celebrations and the weather is so much different back home in the UK and that found on my scrapbook page.

You may have joined me from Cindy's  blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

When I first saw the theme I was a little hesitant as I didn't take many photo's last year as we were a little snowed under (excuse the pun) with my daughters wedding and then all going down with the flu, then I remembered some photo's that I had taken a while back when we had really bad snow... I found these and then started creating.

Using a mixture of Frost Shimmer paint, Brusho's and Whisper White Craft re inker, I set about making the background for my page.

I then mounted my photo's on to card stock before adding snow flakes from both the Blizzard Thinlits and Seasonal Layer Thinlits Dies.

I've used a technique and to cut my title out using the Large Letters Framelits.

I hope you like my double page spread - supplies used to create this layout can be ordered via my Online store here

Don't forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what Cheryl has created using this theme.

Happy Scrappin'

Sue
