Yes its just a very simple layout but very effective,  you could even use a lot of scraps of  different papers too.

All that needs adding are the photographs, title and some journalling....

Today's cards feature the Pretty Kitty stamp set, these were made as part of a customer special order.

This first style was based on an idea from a fellow demonstrator and uses the Christmas Stocking Thinlits and Glimmer paper. 

For the second style I have added a few retired products and came up with this design.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Its beginning to feel a lot like Christmas around here at the moment!! Yesterday Frank and I got the tree and decorations down from the loft and with the help of Heidi its all decorated.....

So I thought I'd share one of the layouts I designed for this months Scrapbook Class.

This months kit incorporated the Be Merry DSP and the Quilted Christmas 1/4" (6.4 Mm) Ribbon.

All that needs adding are the photographs, title and some journalling.... so happy that all my girls will be in the UK for Christmas this year... well we have the wedding first!!

Today I can safely share with you one of the cards that I have been commissioned for the festive season, as it has been hand delivered. 

It uses the  Year of Cheer Specialty DSP,and the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies, I am so in love with the detail in these dies....so delicate looking. The sentiment is computer generated.

Christmas Cheer Challenge 2017

Firstly I must apologies that there haven't been any Scrapbookin' On Sunday posts for the past couple of weeks, the reason is life has been rather hectic around here preparing for 3 different events -- last week's  Sincerely Yours Papercraft Show, this weeks Christmas Cheer Challenge and in case you didn't know its my daughter Amy's wedding which is the 23rd of December!!  

So today I'm going to share with some of the pictures taken at my Christmas Cheer Event held in Orpington.

Where we made a total of  440 cards for the RMCH charity

In the morning I was joined by the children from Sunday School, who made a total of 60 cards. They so loved how the cookie cutter punch could be used no only to punch out the stamped image but they could punch it out and created their very own gingerbread man.

After a quick tidy up and a cuppa I was soon joined my ladies who either attend my classes or crafty playtime sessions to get their craft on!!

Here's another card that we made at my Christmas all day workshop, this another one that the ladies went ohh and ahh over!!

Here you can see that I've made a coordinating box using the Window Box Thinlits Dies, the picture doesn't pick it up very well but I've used one of the snowflake thinlits and die cut these out from 3 of the sides added a foil snowflake over the top at an angle and added a flicking tea light... it has to be seen to really appreciate it.

Here's one of  the cards that we made at last Saturday's All Day class  using the Snowflake Sentiments Bundle - secretly its my favorite one of the day. 

I used daubers and inks to create the colored snowflakes and to ink up the sentiments.

Festive Friday's

Today's Christmas offering is one that I have cased from out there in blog land. 

It uses the outer petals from the Painted Harvest  stamp set, and the sentitment is from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set.

I've paired up the new Lemon and Lime twist and Garden Green to create the wreath and used Cherry Cobbler for the sentiment.

Stamparatus - Pre Order round 1

PRODUCT LAUNCH BY RESERVATION ONLY – IMPORTANT!

This product launch is completely different than anything we’ve ever done before, as we anticipate there to be an extremely high demand for this. Your tool will be ordered like a pre-order, reserve your spot, and wait for your tool to arrive.

Doing it this way will stop out of stocks and back orders, although we will have to wait slightly longer, we will be more efficient in our inventory, happy and stress-free! Here’s how to reserve yours.


There will be three separate product reservation windows and corresponding shipping dates, (explained in the chart below). The first window opens on Thursday 16th November, at 21:00 GMT.




RESERVE YOUR STAMPARATUS IN THREE EASY STEPS

To reserve your Stamparatus, you must have a customer account in my online shop. If you haven’t got one, you will need to go to my Stampin’ Up! Online Shop HERE, then click Create Account and follow the on-screen instructions.


STEP 1 – Click the reserve button, RESERVE HERE or directly in my online shop! (This link will not work until Thursday 16th November at 21:00 GMT/ 22:00 CET)


STEP 2 – Your product reservation will appear on the screen. Customers are limited to 1 Stamparatus per Reservation Window. Please note, if you’d like to cancel your reservation you can do this on the same screen.


STEP 3 – A confirmation email will be sent to your email inbox, no payment will be taken during the reservation.

When the Stamparatus stock comes into the warehouse you’ll receive an email notifying you that your Stamparatus order is ready. 

Your Stamparatus order will sit in your shopping cart, it is important that you DO NOT DELETE this item from your shopping basket, as your reservation will be cancelled. Then simply complete the checkout as normal, and yes you will be able to add other products to your shopping basket.

This is one of the pages I designed for my Scrapbook Club this month using the Painted Petals DSP.

It was really ironic that the day I scrapped this layout the photograph popped up on my  "On this Day" facebook feed.

My next scrapbook class uses the Be Merry Designer Series Paper

This class is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced Scrapbookers. Each kit contains enough materials to make at least 4 pages.

Stampin' Blends

Today sees the release of Stampin' Up!s Newest Products - Stampin' Blends along with a complimenting stamp set Color Me Happy  and Color Me Happy Project Kit.

Here is a quick card I made using the pens and stampset the other day I'm looking forward to playing with them some more (when I put grandson down).

This is the full range of pens which have a light and dark shade in 12 colors and then there are 2 skin tones and as they are an alcohol based pen a color lifter for those little mishaps or to make some more varying shades.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Today I'd like to share with you the first scrapbook page of my Grandson...... 

I've had this kit for a little while know and knew that I wanted to use a picture of my first grandchild on it, but not knowing the sex I couldn't complete it until they had been born, as my daughter and her partner wanted a surprise!!

I've used a selection of both retired / current dies and some non Stampin' Up!  ones to complete the title and embellishments.

Off to get some Nana cuddles now and start another few pages for his album and of course upcoming classes.

Well last week's post never happened as I was rather busy late Thursday night/ Friday morning as this little bundle of joy made an early appearance.

Can't believe his a week old and already being spoilt rotten by his Auntie Heidi and Uncle Marky!!

I've had my fair share of cuddles too......

Festive Fridays

Tomorrow I'm teaching the second of my all day Christmas workshops, so I thought I would share with you a couple of cards that they will be making.

I have based the class around the Merry Little Christmas  Memories & More card pack showing that these cards are not only for scrapbooking with the help of a fellow demonstrator Sandra.  

For this first card I have trimmed down one of the memories and more cards and added some snowflakes using the dies in the Seasonal Tags Framelits 

For the second card I have stamped a sentiment from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set and painted over the trees on the Memories & More card with Wink of Stella. 

Unfortunately you can't see this on the photograph, Oh and I've added Bling to most of the cards !!


I think my ladies are going to be really busy as I have made up 30 cards using just under half of a pack of the Merry Little Christmas Memories & More Card Pack.

Next week see the first of my all day Christmas workshops, so I thought I'd start sharing some of my Christmas makes with you. 




This weeks make is using the stamps and dies from the Eastern Palace Suite which can be found on page of the Annual Catalogue.   









Here's a closer look at the "pointsettia " made from the dies, I love the way that the Tranquil Tide card stock makes the Real Red pop.

Summer Lovin'

A couple of weeks ago on my instagram I shared this photograph and I had lots of comments asking me 
what I was upto!!

After getting really messy with my reinkers, watercolour paper and aqua painters 



I can reveal what I was I was making a wedding card to order and my brief was to use vibrant summery colours .

To finish it off I stamp and embossed the sentiment using both retired a stamp set and coloured embossing powder.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

I've been saving this layout to share with you for a little while (the last 5 months to be precise)  I can say Frank and I are so happy for these two as they look forward to their bundle of joy due the middle of next month!!

This time instead of using patterned paper to put behind the die cut I've picked out the colours of Lucy's dress and used scraps of card stock - Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight, really summery colours!!

Next week I'll be sharing with you a sneak peak of my October class using the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper - 

Each kit contains enough materials to  make at least 4 pages

You've Got Style

When I first saw this stamp in the new catalogue I knew I just had to have it, so far this is the only time I've played with it.....

Here I've paired it up with the incolours - Powder Pink and Tranquil Tide and used my Stampin' Markers to colour the image.

I can't wait to have some more me time to play with this set.
