Thinking of you

On Friday I posted a card based on the Card Sketch #133 found over at Paper Craft Crew Challenges.

I enjoyed the Sketch so much that I decided to have another play today, this time with a square card and a different stamp keeping it in "girlie" colours this is what I came up with.

I can't wait to play along with the next one......

Happy Stampin'

Sale a Bration Saturday

A real quick post from me today showing a card that I have case'd  from my friend Michelle, using a selection of Sale a Bration Products.

I just loved the monotone look of the White and Coastal Cabana....... its funny how sometimes you see a card and think "I want to make one just like that" which I did here.

Michelle is just getting back into blogging so be sure to pop on over and have a look at her work here

Be sure to pop back tomorrow for Scrapbookin' On Sunday...

Have a fab Saturday.

Pretty in Pink???

Tonight I stepped out of my comfort zone and made a PINK card...although I'm a girl pink is not one of my favourite colours but when given the opportunity to play with a stamp set that I don't own (yes there are a couple I don't have!!) I knew I just had to do this card in PINK's

The card follows Sketch #133 which can be found over at the Paper Craft Crew Challenges here

I had great fun with this challenge and have made my mind up to try and play along with some more to get my creative juices flowing.

Thanks for passing by to have a look, please let me know you've been

Masculine Monday's

Today I'm sharing with you a card using colours that I don't often use together - Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight.

I think that this makes a fun card especially for a teenage boy.

Hope you have a great day whatever you get up to!!

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

For this months scrapbook club kit I gave the ladies the choice of choosing which papers they would like to work with and they choose the Birthday Bash Specialty DSP.

Which was great for me as I still hadn't got round to scrapping the photographs from my special birthday last year.

So for this weeks post I'm sharing with you the double page layout I came up with which also uses the Celebrate Today stamp set and coordinating Balloon Framelits (which can be purchased as a bundle for a discount)

My next Scrapbook class is on the 18th March and we will be using the Something Borrowed DSP

so why not come along and join us and make at least two pages for your Scrapbook Album.

Each kit contains enough materials to make at least 4 pages.

This class is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced Scrapbookers.

Please email for more details or  you can opt to have the kit sent out by mail.

Happy Scrappin'

Sale a Bration Saturday

Today I am going to share with you one of the cards that the lovely group ladies will be making at their all day Spring Craft day with me.

The class is featured around the Sheltering Tree stamp set, which is becoming one of my favourites......

Here I have stamped the images in Soft Suede and Pool Party and the leaves on the tree have been heat embossed with Pool Party Embossing Powder.

The patterned paper is from the Best Year Ever pack,  which is one of the items that you can earn FREE with every £45 you spend throughout Sale a Bration.

Happy Valentines Day!!

After I unpacked my goodies yesterday I made a start on Frank's Valentine's Day, bits and bobs.  This year I bought him some chocolate goodies from the USA and decided that I would make some nice packaging for them.

I made this packaging using my newly acquired Mini Treat Bag die and Cheerful Critters stampset, I've seen lots of things made with these two items so I caved in and treated myself!!

I hope you have a great Valentines day!!

Easter Bunny

Today I am sharing with you a card that I made last minute for the WI meeting that I demonstrated at this week.

At the last minute the organizer telephoned and asked if I could do some cards using Easter as theme as they have sent their members a challenge of making an Easter card next month .....and here's one of the items what I came up

Thanks for passing by

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

This week I'm going to share with you another layout from my last scrapbook class, using Sweet Taffty DSP and the Star Framelits.

I have scraplifted this layout from somewhere out there in blog land, as soon as my ladies mentioned they would like to do a star layout I knew that this would be great with these papers.

I thought I did really well with my stamping straight on to the page until I realised that I had put the wrong year on it grrrr luckily I was able to correct it before I showed my daughters.

Next week I'll be back to share with you the  4x4 swaps I received at leadership last week.

until then happy scrappin'

Saturday Snapshot

Today I'd like to share with you some of my amazing memories of Stampin' Up!s last ever Leadership event in Orlando....and it was extra special as demonstrators from UK, France, Germany, Holland, Australia and New Zealand were also invited.

The Convention Center it self was huge........ Michelle my roomie got lost several times.

We were both please to meet up with Justin Krieger, we both follow him on line.

I made new friends with this lovely group of ladies

two of us got named the terrible twins as we lead each other a stray especially when I took this picture at the end of a day, Sorry Pam!!

I was lucky enough go to the Managers reception, where we watched a show and had unlimited rides on the Aerosmith Roller Coaster and Terror of Tower

after which we had desserts and a photo opportunity with Mickey & Co

Sadly things have to come to an end and Shelli gets very emotional more so at this the last Leadership event and with her announcement that she and Stirling are taking time out to go and serve doing missionary work for their church.

I'm looking forward to  Stampin' Up!s next event which will be the regional one in Telford, May 2015.

Hope to see you there

Happy Craftin'
