Scrapbookin' On Sunday

A little later posting than usual today but I have spent the morning resting and relaxing with my hubby who I haven't seen for a few day's.......I even cooked him breakfast!!

I'm going to share with you one of layouts from this month's Scrapbook club kit featuring the Flower Pot DSP.

Here I have used a flower mask  (as it went well with the flowers in the papers) from my collection with Lost Lagoon ink.

Frank was really pleased to see "Our Willie" when we went up to Glasgow back in June. 

Next week I'll be back with another layout that we did. remember if you aren't able to attend in person the kits are available by post, next month we will be using the Flashback DSP.

Festive Friday.........

A different Festive Friday post from me this week, today I'm going to share with you the New Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue which went live to order from yesterday.

WOYWW 273

I've been really busy this past month with all my birthday celebrations and havent managed to squeeze a woyww in,  but this week sees me taking some time out and chilling at my brothers.

Here you can see that I brought along  some  images and my promarker pens to play with. I haven't played with my promarkers for a while and I'm finding it very relaxing. I bought along a stash of dsp so that I coloured my images to co ordinate with rathèr than clash which is my usual error (colouring and not thinking what finished image will go with). Looks like I'll have a few cards to make up when I go back home at the weekend.

 the stamps used and alphabet were from my supplies that I need using up.

Festive Friday

A little later than planned but I've had no wifi or access to my lap top but with the help of my good friend Charlie-Louise I'm able to bring you a sneak peak of a stamp set in the upcoming Autumn/Winter seasonal catalogue.

Shall I let you into a little secret the stamp set comes in photopolymer and is priced at £13.95 making it a real bargain and is also available in a bundle as there is matching punch for the tree.........its just fab!!

I have just ordered copies of the catalogues, if you are  in one of my clubs or are a current customer you will be posted one as soon as they arrive. If you don't have a demo already looking after you I will happily send one to you just let me know.

Masculine Monday

For this week's Masculine Monday's post I'm going to share with you one of the make and takes that the ladies did at my event this weekend.

I host a monthly crop and as it's my  big birthday, I arranged for them to play some party games and some make and takes using a selection of products in the current catalogue and of course a sneak peak of somethings from the upcoming Autumn/Winter Catalogue.

This card uses the longest remaining stamp set in the annual catalogue - Lovely as a Tree (I've been a demonstrator for 5 years and its been in there since then) and a sentiment from the Something to Say stamp set.

Here's a picture of the ladies busy crafting and a group one of us having fun!!

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

As I mentioned last week I was away at a crafting retreat.........it was a great laugh, 20 plus ladies in a dorm and on Saturday I  did an all nighter!!  

In total I managed to complete 10 layouts some where couple where double pages and project life. We had some fun challenges as well and at the end of the weekend we were all presented with a certificate and medal

This is one of the pages that I that I did whilst at the retreat, I decided that I would try and use up some of my non  SU stash,  I can't believe how much I have still.

I also tried to make sure that on each page that I completed I either put a title or at least did some journaling. 

I just love this photo of Lucy kissing the fish she caught. right i'm off to pack the kits for next week's class, there is still one available if your interested we're using the flower pot dsp.

Festive Friday

A little later in posting today as I have been busy preparing for tomorrow's crop which is an extra special one as we'll be celebrating my birthday!!

Kinda Electic workshop

Up coming All Day Workshop 

This fun day of crafting will cost £30*  - you will receive your own goodie bag with everything you need to complete projects throughout the day which will include the Kinda Electic* stamp set

I am still away at a Crafty retreat .....a birthday outing for me and my bestie.  In total there are 22 ladies  all in one dorm its a scream!!

Here you can see that I have only used one sheet of  DSP to make a border down the left hand side  and the tree which I have embellished with pearls.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Sorry readers, there are no scrapbook pages to post on my blog today as I have been rather busy trying to organize my crafting stash..........and its taking much longer than I had anticipated !!

However I can give you a sneak peak of the papers that will be in this month's club kit, which are called Flower Pot

When I first saw these papers I just knew I had to use them and had lots of different layouts running around my head.......I have managed to make 5 different layouts using just half a pack DSP.

Festive Friday's

As promised last Friday here is another Festive card (still not used the C word yet....LOL) using the Joyful Christmas stamp set. 

As you can see from the photograph I have stamped the main image with Versa mark in and embossed this with clear embossing powder on to a Very Vanilla piece of card stock. Then using my Cherry Cobbler ink I sponged around the edges and image making it darker over the Poinsettia.

I didn't think the colours  Blushing Bride and Cherry Cobbler would go together very well but I was pleasantly surprised.

Next week pop back to see another festive creation using products found in the Annual Catalogue and not on the Seasonal Carry over list which remember is only available to order from until 27th August.
