Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Hello there I hope the weather is being kind to you.......for this week's Scrapbookin' On Sunday I would like to share with you another two layouts that I shared with my ladies at scrapbook club this month.

Its funny that in the mini heatwave we are having at the moment that I chose to use photographs that were taken a couple of Christmas's ago.

I hope that you have a great day whatever you get up to............me I'm going to be relaxing with Amy poolside, no more beach I still look like a beetroot - Frank's description of me at the moment!!

Be sure to pop back next week to see another card that I made using the Joyful Christmas stamp set.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

On Wednesday I held by monthly scrapbook class - using papers from last year's catalogue (which have just retired) Retro Fresh.

This layout uses one of the "starburst's" that a couple of my ladies really wanted to try out......some of the other's were very apprehensive but once they had started on it and saw it coming together they were pleasantly surprised as to how easy it was - well I had done the hard work by giving them  templates and tips.......

This has to be one of my favourite photo's of Frank and myself........yes we too can take a "Selfie" Heidi!!

Next week I'll be back with another couple of layouts we did. If you would like to join us or have future kits via post then please drop me an email or give me a call/text on 07914 360625

Festive Friday's......

I know.......I can hear you saying already its too early we're in the middle of a heat wave but if you think about it there are only 23 more Shopping Saturday's until the BIG day!!!

So from now until then on a Friday I will be sharing with you a festive project ( see I still haven't used the C-word LOL)

As I said in post on Wednesday "I really don't want to get bogged down leaving everything until the last minute again"

For this card I used one of the stamp sets that can be found on the carry over list here  - Joyful Christmas, which is available to purchase up until the 27th August!! and Sassy Salutations from the Annual Catalogue.

I stamped the image on to Vellum cardstock with Versa Mark ink and then embossed with Silver Embossing Powder, I used my Cherry Cobbler Blendabilites to colour the centre of the Poinsettia.

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday? WOYWW 267

Last week my desk was totally out of action until after my fridge/freezer was delivered, after a very kind neighbour came to my rescue with screwdriver and tools!! yes I need those to change over the way the doors opened,  I was actually able to get some crafting done.

I managed to finish this card off for my sister, who's birthday it was on Saturday. The image is one of Mo's as my sister just loves Giraffes!! and the sentiment is from one of my many Stampin' Up! sets.

But back to this week yes here is my desk.........not giving to much away but the festive feeling is around here at the moment!!

I just don't want to get bogged down doing it all last minute again so I thought I would do 6 cards each week from now on!! well that's the plan lets see how long it last's.

to find out more about WOYWW then pop over to Julia's blog here, I'm going to grab a coffee and be a bit nosey at other people's desk.....please let me know you've been by

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Good morning, today I would like to share with you one of the layouts I was working on at a crop that I went to last weekend. I wasn't able to finish it there as I needed to print out a photograph so during the week I got it  printed out and voila my layout got completed.

The pictures are from my nieces wedding earlier in the year (the one i did the wedding stationery for) and the papers are from a kit that I have had laying around since 2011...

I'm really trying to have a big tidy up of my craft supplies so if you pop over to my crafty clear out facebook page you might grab yourself a bargain or two.

Well I'm going to dash now as Amy's coming over for Sunday dinner and I did to get to tesco's or she'll be eating beans on toast...

Mixed Bunch and Flower Shop

This Saturday I would like to share with you a card that I made earlier in the year for a young ladies 90th Birthday.

When I saw her a couple of weeks later, she told me that she had shown everyone at her Thursday club and that it took pride of place in her collection of cards.......I blushed a little saying oh it was nothing.

All the items used to make this card are available to purchase apart form the DSP as this was from my stash of retired papers.

WOYWW 266

Well I don't think a whole lot of craftin' is going to get done today with this lot piled up on my desk............ My fridge/freezer suddenly died a death so  we had to rush out to buy one and it's being delivered this morning......and of course everything has had to be moved to make way for it to go in its space.

When I've sorted this lot out then I'll be relaxing with some crafting therapy and as hubby will be out I wont have to stop and cook dinner bliss.

If your curious about WOYWW then pop on over to Julia's blog here and get the low down......

I'll be round to have a nosy on desk's when I take a sneaky coffee break from my tiding up

Have a fab WOYWW everyone

Hugs

Zoo Babies

Over the next couple of days I'm going to share with you a set of cards that I made as an alternative to the ones I taught in an all day class using the Daydream Medallion stamp set as a "one sheet wonder".

In these two card I have substituted the Floral Framelits for the Circle Framelits.

Be sure to pop back tomorrow until then Happy Stampin'

Masculine Monday

For today's Masculine Monday post I'm going to share with you a card that I made for a male friend of mine who helped with some computer stuff.

I used some of the elements that I had left over from my Hip Hip Hooray card kit (more details here).......I really can't believe how much bits and bobs you get in them. And the best news is that they made them into the  New Catalogue......

You can view the catalogue on line via picture in side bar, or if you would like a hard copy then please contact me.

Must dash got loads to do.....the boring things come first today like housework (sorry for swearing) before I can play with my NEW goodies that Mr Ups is bringing me.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Today's post is a little late as I popped out for a coffee with Heidi and had hoped to have added journalling and some embellishments to this layout before posting it.....but I didn't want to let my readers down so here it is naked style!!

The top right had card is the reversal of the one I used on a previous layout which can be found here which is fab as I not only saved time but it makes the cards economical to as they are double sided.

Right off to cook the Sunday dinner now and spend the evening with hubby as he's back to work tomorrow......so more playtime for me!!

Everything Eleanor

Today I would like to show you a set of cards that my ladies made in class earlier this year using the Everything Eleanor stamp set.

We had fun distressing the seam binding and using the wheels which are sadly all now retired from Stampin' Up!s product range.

If you would like to join us then please do contact me, we meet on a Wednesday evening  or why not come along to one of my Crafty Playtime days where you could also take the class, or just craft away with like minded people.

Catch you all tomorrow with Scrapbookin' On Sunday - have a fun day I know I will as I've planned to go to a crop and get really messy with my inks, nothing unusual  about that hubby would say.

Love is in the air

Today's post is just a quick one as I wanna go and grab some of those lovely rays outside. I made this card earlier in the year for a friend of mine who was also celebrating their anniversary but not quite as long as mine.

I used the Heart shaped framelits as a mask to create the shape with the punched flowers and splatters.
