Watercolor Note Cards

These lovely note cards can be found in the Spring/Summer Catalogue and are great for both watercoloring - here I have used the one of the flower stamps from Happy Watercolor and aqua painters

or just plain stamping - these stamps can be found in the Wetlands set

You can either place an order on line here or contact me by either phone or email.

Remember that the retirement list doesn't include anything from the Spring/Summer catalogue - we as demonstrator's don't know what has made it into the NEW catalogue which will be available to order from 1st July.

Thank you card

Today I would like to share with you a card that I shared with my customers this month.

It use stamps from the Happy Watercolor set that can be found in the Spring/Summer Catalogue. I just love the paint splodge and the effect that it has when you stamp off like I did here.

Swallowtail Friend Card

I finally got round to playing with my Swallowtail stamp. Here is an arty-farty photo that I took showing that I had attached it 3D to the base of my card.

And here is a better view, although still at an angle.

I stamped the image in versa mark before embossing it with Black Powder, then coloured it in using Stampin' Write Marker pens.

Next I'm going to try it with the re inker technique I think.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Today's Scrapbookin' On Sunday's post is a little later than usual the reason being I wanted to make sure that the recipients surprise wasn't ruined.

The happy couple Nigel and Julia got married last year and I made this scrapbook page and framed it for their anniversary.

Although the papers were from a kit that I've had lying around for several years, I've used Stampin' Up!s punches and retired paper flowers on the layout.

It seemed really funny working on a 9x9 page but I'm really please with the result and am looking forward to playing with Project Life when it becomes available.

Be sure to pop back next week and I'll be able to share with you some of the layouts from this months kit - Kaleidoscope DSP

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Here is another page using the Epic Day This and That DSP.

I've "grunged" up the page by both stamping with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and by distressing the edges and sponging with inks.

I then stamped the World Map stamp and carfully cut around an area so that my photo could slip in under it..and adhere it with Washi tape. Under where the photograph will be I stamped in crumb cake the Off the Grid stamp.

I have left nothing down the left hand space as I want to journal there, unfortunately I haven't had the photograph printed off yet.

Until next week

So Very Grateful

When this post show's on my blog I will be at Stampin' Up!s annual Regional Event in Telford.......when Stampin' Up! demonstrators get together at events like this we like to exchange ideas and the best way to do that is by swapping cards.

I  chose the So Very Grateful stamp set from the Spring/Summer Catalogue and the Scallops Embossing Folder, Primrose Petal card stock and inks and this is what I came up with.

Pop back next Saturday and I'll share with you the cards that I got in return.

Wedding season

With the upcoming wedding season coming up  (my daughter has two to attended) I thought I would make her some cards to choose from.........

Here are two that I made using the Dress Up Framelits.

For this first one I have just run the dress through an embossing folder and added some pearls around the neckline.

On this second one I have added an extra string of pearls around the waist and added a blossom made from Simply Pressed Clay.

I can't make up my mind which one I prefer, how about you??

Dress makers dummy card

A little bit later than usual, here is today's blog posting using some lovely framelits from Stampin' Up! along with two stamp sets - Perfectly Penned and Everything Eleanor.

I used the Natural Compostion DSP and cut out  the " Dress makers dummy" shaped  framelit, which I then embellished with the medium flower from one of Simply Pressed Clay molds.

Can you notice the difference in their colours? one is slightly pink , I coloured as small amount with the Pink Pirouette re-inker and made them up for other projects.

Hope you've all had a great day, be sure to pop by to see what else I made using these framelits tomorrow until then

Hope your all having a lovely Bank Holiday.

This weeks Masculine Monday's card uses the Gorgeous Grunge and Simply Stars stamp sets, the sentiment is from the Four You set.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Another layout from last month's club kit featuring the Epic Day This and That DSP

This is a multi page layout ~  if you lift the part that's got photo written on  there you will find space for hidden photo's and journaling (forgot to take piccies of that part). I have also used the Pricking guides and dded some circles in the top left and bottom right hand corners, I think the photo just about picks them out.

Also I highlighted some of the words on this paper with my pool party marker, before adding splodges from the Gorgeos Grunge stamp set and embellishing it with Buttons and Twine. The title is cut using the  Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die.

How many layouts did I manage to complete yesterday.............well the answer is 2 double page layouts and 6 single page layouts of which 3 need photo's adding and started on number 7 but was too tired to find my stamps........... hopefully I will find time to finish them this week and will share with you real soon.
