Floral Easter Egg

The other week I went up to see my mum and dad and was accosted by my niece to help her with her "Easter egg" for school.

I had very limited supplies with me, although my mum crafts she's not really into stamping or punches.......I dug deep into my bag and found that I had the small flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack.

I set my mum and my niece the task of punching loads of these out from different coloured card. Whilst I tied a bow and stuck down some ribbon that mum had found - probably from around a box of choc's.

Mum also managed to find some coloured gems which we added to the centre of flowers randomly.

And here she is with her finished egg.

It's surprising what you can do with limited supplies .....

Masculine Monday

For this weeks post I am going to share with you a  cascade card that my ladies made at  this months card class using the Simply Stars stamp set.

Using a sheet of whisper white 12x12 card stock we created our own backing paper for this one I used for different blues - Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Marina Mist and Soft Sky.  Using a variety of star punches and dies with the help of the fabulous Silver Glimmer paper I added the extra bits.

I then floated the sentiment using some acetate - which I stamped from the Sassy Salutations stamp set and cut it using  one of the dies from the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

I'll be back next week with another Masculine Monday post, but do pass by through the week to see my other creations........

Happy Stampin'
