Festive Friday

For this weeks Festive Friday I'm going to share with you two quick cards using  the Snowflake Soiree stamp set - which happens to be one of the 25 stamp sets with 25% from Stampin' Up!

The snow flakes in this first card are stamped in Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake on Naturals Ivory card stock, which actually makes the Crumb Cake look Golden. I added some pearls to make the snow flakes pop.

For this second card I created a mask using the oval framelits and sponged this with Marina Mist ink. The sentiment here is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set, and for the centers on this card I used some Cherry Dazzling Details.

The beauty of both of these cards are they're post friendly making it even easier on you pocket...........more to spend of crafty goodies :o)

Festive Friday

Can't believe that I managed even to get an extra couple of posts on my blog this week especially as I have been flat out at work and doing 3 classes/parties this week.

Here is this weeks Festive Friday cards...... yes I thought I would share two with you this week they feature the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and embossing powders - Pewter and Gold.

For this first card I have also used the En Francis background stamp, and created a double bow with Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler seam binding and fastened it together with an Antique Brad.

For this second card I have stamped in Cherry Cobbler before going over the card again with Pewter embossing powder. I then stamped and embossed the sentiment from the seasonal greetings (carry over) stamp set. The ornament keepsake stamp set and matching framelits are also on the carry over list here I have attached it with some of the new LUSH silver ribbon.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Today's Scrapbook layout uses the bright colours found in the Gingham Garden DSP and  coordinating Washi Tape.

Here I used the left overs from the club layouts I did a couple of months ago and added some of the Washi Tape............it's so quick and simple and lifts off really easier if you don't get it on straight first time.

Now all I need to do to this layout is add some photographs and a title....well must dash off to meet up with some fellow demonstrators this afternoon so go to get a few bits done before I go.

Have a great Sunday whatever you get up to..........

Festive Friday

Today's Festive Friday Card is rather late as I seem to be having problems with blogger but as the saying goes better late than never!!

This week I would like to share with you  a new fold that I learn't the other day called the "Double Dutch Card Fold"

Here I have used the Wishing You stamp set, both inside and out. I coloured the parcel stamp using my Stampin write markers before cutting the image out with the new circle framelits.  The paper I have used is from the Season of Style paperstack I think these are great value for money and you get 4 different designs in total (as they are double sided)

And here's a quick picture of the inside stamped.

If you wish to purchase any of the items used to make the above card you can order them through my online shop  here or email me at frankiesuestampin@gmail.com remember to use/quote this months hostess code

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Yesterday I spent the whole day scrapbookin' and I thoroughly enjoyed my self and when I got home I added the photographs, as being in such a rush to run out the door I left them at home.

After finishing my inspirational layouts for this months club (using the Ventian Romance DSP), I had a little play with the Sweater Weather Designer Series Papers from the Autumn/Winter seasonal catalogue.

I'm really naughty as I haven't scrapped any pictures of my nephew as a baby, he is now 3!!

Well I must dash as I'm off for another play day this time with a fellow demonstrator and great friend Charlie. Have a great day whatever you get up to...........

Festive Friday

Welcome to this weeks Festive Friday, today I am sharing a card that I made using a firm favourite  stamp set of mine Lovely as a Tree.

This stamp set has been around for a wee while now and I love the versatility of it, I have used it for men's birthdays, general best wishes, sympathy cards, thinking of you and of course Christmas cards.

Here I have stamped the Pine tree image in Night of Navy onto Shimmery White card stock, used a mat of Brushed Silver card stock to one side. The sentiment is from the Greetings of the Season stamp set and embossed with Silver embossing powder. I also added a little dazzling details to the tree but unfortunately the photograph doesn't pick it up.

The Greetings of the Season stamp set is on the carryover Christmas List from last years catalogue which can be viewed here.

Remember if you wish to purchase any of the items used to make the above card you can order them through my on line shop here or email me at frankiesuestampin@gmail.com remember to use/quote this months hostess code which is
