WOYWW 220

Whats On Your Workdesk  Wednesday??  I haven't played along with this for the last few weeks as it's been hectic around here and I  haven't found time to photograph my antics and keep my blog up to date as well as adjusting to full time hours. However  my friend commented that she has missed my woyww posts recently so I made sure that I posted one this week..

There's not really that much to see, some ribbon, clothes pegs and a  lovely bunch of flowers my daughter bought me for my birthday. The only reason I don't want to show you the project I'm working on is, it's for an upcoming craft show and which a few of my customers are coming along to and I wouldn't like to spoil their surprise.

I'm off to have a nosey around a few desks before I head of to work and will catch up with some more later. if you want to find out more about woyww click here

Thanks for passing by, Happy Craftin'

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Wow where has the week gone to..............I know I've been really busy here what with working and preparing bits ready  for the Sincerely Yours Papercraft show at Biggin Hill on the 1st of September especially as I'm off on holiday next week.

Well enough of my ramblings for today, let me share with you another layout from last months kit.

Here I used a template from my stash to cut out the shape from a sheet of the Soho Subway DSP. The stamp used on this layout are from the Gorgeous Grunge and Everything Eleanor sets and the embellishments I have had lying around for some time and they went perfectly with this layout.

As you can see I was experimenting with my camera which is something that I enjoy, and I'm looking forward to taking lots whilst I'm away in Italy.

Well I must dash as I have a date with my Christmas stamps ready for displays....have a great day what ever your up to

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Today I am going to share with you one of the layouts that I showed as a sneak peak last week.......yes I'm teasing you to come back another week for a looksy for the other one.

As I mentioned last week we were using the Soho Subway Designer Series Papers, here I have inked all the edges as well as stamping with one of the stamps from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. For the flower centre I have used some of the Natural Trim ribbon.

Six Sided Sampler Card

Today I am going to share with you one of the cards I made the other week, when I went to play with my good friend and fellow demonstrator Charlie.

This was the first time that I had played with my Six Sided Sampler stamp set and matching Hexagon punch. The colours I used were Smoky Slate, Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petal, I even punched the butterfly out of one of the hexagon shapes and blinged it up.

Charlie was a hard task master and made sure I got plenty of cards and display materials  made ready for the upcoming Sincerely Yours papercraft show in Biggin Hill. Be sure to pop along and see some of the other projects that we made.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

As the saying goes better late than never.........today I had to pop out shopping to get a few bit for our holiday at the end of the month........I can't wait as we're off to Italy again. This time we will be staying in Malcesine which is on Lake Garda. I've always wanted to go  to visit Lake Garda since I went past it many moons ago on a day trip to Venice, so when we we're invited to Frank's friends wedding at Malcesine Castle there was no way I was going to turn the opportunity down.

Right back to Scrapbookin' this evening I am being really cheeky and showing you a couple of sneak peaks from this weeks Scrapbook Club.......for the month of August we swapped scrapbook and card nights around.

Can you guess this month's papers??

If you love Designer Series Papers then why not take advantage of Stampin' Up!s special offer on them this month, for more details click here.
