Twitterpated Suite

Twitterpatted Suite,  at the moment is my favourite "Suite" from Stampin' Up! and I'll be really sad  to see this suite go at the end of August. This is one of the cards that was featured at  my Summer Craft Day earlier this month.
Using the Simply Scored Tool to make gatefold cards is really quick and easy.... as my ladies found out. They also loved the Framelit Dies too I didn't realize until I photographed all the cards together after completing them that I used them SOOOOOOOOO much.

Using the long flower stamp from the Bordering on Romance stamp set I even stamped and decorated the inside of the card. 



Having stamped the flowers and sentiment (from Petite Pairs) in Stazon ink we then used the re inkers to colour the images in some used Watercolour Pens and others used Stampin' Up!s Blender Pens.

Bright Blossoms

Today I'm sharing with you a card made with my favourite summer colour combination - Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise and the Bright Blossoms stamp set.

Here's another picture taken at a fancy angle to show you the  Brights Designer Buttons which I added  along with some White Bakers Twine. The main focal image has been coloured and then stamped using the Stampin' write markers.

50 today!!!!!!!!!!

Apologises as to not posting over the past week but life has been very hectic here with preparing for Frank's 50th Birthday

I wanted to really embrass him and post pictures of him and his friend Julius in their younger days all around the venue where they hosted a small party for their old school mates......
but sadly  there are NO photographs apart from a group photograph of him with one of his sisters and his four brothers (which in talking with his sister we managed to age him at 5).  His sister as a surprise had this enlarged and framed for him he was speechless!!

 ... so here is his "baby photo"

Deja Vue ???

Yes you are seeing double.......This is the colour version that the ladies that attended my Summer Craft Day today made.  They had a fun filled day of crafting.......all I know is at the moment I'm exhausted!!

My next all day event is being held on the 21st of July and is themed around Christmas ... so be sure to book your place soon.

Bordering On Romance

Whilst I'm busy preparing for my Summer Craft Day on Saturday, I decided to take time out and play along with this weeks challenge over at Simply Stampin'. 

Their theme this week is Regally Royal or Jubilee a theme they have carried on from the festivities of last weekend.

So here is my creation using stamps from the  Bordering On Romance stamp set which can be found in the Summer Mini Catalogue and Perfect Punches and co ordinating punch. I have used the Clear Large Scallop Square die for the easel section.

The main focal flower has been stamped and embossed with white embossing powder on Vellum Paper and gently worked on from behind for that parchment look (not sure you can see it that well in the photograph.

Everything Eleanor

Here is a card using one of the colours I struggle to use usually Calpsyo Coral, but here it just seems right at home with these colours - Soft Suede, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake.

I'm just loving the flourish in the Everything Eleanor stamp set at the moment and the flowers are great for cutting our and raising on dimensionals to give projects some depth.  Can you spy that I've even used some ribbon, its just above the Scallop Trim Border. The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Usually I share with you photographs that I have scrapped with my middle daughter Amy, so I thought that is was only fair that I should share a page with you that features my eldest Lucy and youngest Heidi  (if you look at their baby photo's you can't tell them apart).

This was a quick page made using the Flirtatious Designer Paper, the Delicate Dolies stamp set and Boho Blossom Punch.

Sorry for the short post but my arm is really hurting from the Physo I had on friday as the result of my car accident the other week.

Mucky Pup.......

As you know from a couple of previous postings I just love getting really messy especially with my Stampin' Up! Re Inkers.....well on Wednesday night at my monthly card  session my ladies got to play along as well........

They were really amazed with the effect of the "Baby Wipe" technique.....

This is just one of the cards they made  using my favourite background stamp Medalion and the colours that remind me of summer (but that seems to have disappeared at the moment)  Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo. The sentiment is from the Just Believe stamp set and punched out using the Modern Label punch.

Fox and Friends

My Fox and Friends stamp set has been sitting on the shelf a little neglected, so I  dusted off the cob webs and inked them up.

 using colours from the Brights Collection, I think this makes them look rather funky and really appealing to younger children. 

As you can see from the photograph I have matted the images onto Sahara Sand Card stock ( a great substitute should you have run out of Crumb Cake) that has been punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. The sentiment is from the Hostess collection Happiest Birthday Wishes stamped in Pacific Point then punched out using the Extra Large Oval Punch.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

I do hope that everyone is enjoying their Jubilee Weekend, despite the bad weather. 

Today's pages uses items from the Simply Scrappin' Kit - Ticket and Tags along with some chip board shapes from the Merry Medley collection.

Simply Scrappin' Kits have everything you need create a quick scrapbook page - Designer Paper, Textured Card Stock and self-adheesive die cuts. These can be found on page 100 of the Main Idea Book and Catalogue.

For this layout I have also used the Framelit dies, where I have some hidden journaling underneath the framed photograph...amazingly Frank took a really good photograph for a change, usually its all blurry and fuzzy.

Can you see that I've used a variety of  different punches - butterfly, modern label, corner, circle, itty bitty, petite pennants builder.
