Getting Started Collection meets the Mixed Bunch

Todays creation is made using the Mixed Bunch stamp set and the Getting Started Collection.

The Getting Started Collection is great for those who are new to stamping and not sure which colours to purchase. Avaliable in the Getting Started colours is a pack of A4 Papers (24) which consists of 2 each of 12 colours  and Classic Stampin' Spots 11 spots 1 of each of the 11 colours (does not include Whisper White).

The card is one I made as a make n take at Michelle's (one of my downlines) first party as a  Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

We also used the Word Window, Modern Label and Eyelet Border punches and sentiment  from the Just Beleive stamp set.

Michelle thank you for a fabulous time, it was great to be on the other side of the fence. Being part of a team is great fun, sharing what you love with like minded people.

Thanks for passing by and seeing my creation

Happy Stampin'

Bright Blossoms.......

Having lost my mojo first thing Saturday and making the Baby Prints card using the Domestic Goddess DSP..... I got inspired my the colours on one of the papers.

I reached for the Bright Blossoms Stamp set  (which needed some loving) and my Simply Scored! tool and started creating this gate fold card.

Having stamped the image on Whisper White card stock I punched it out using the Extra Large Oval and set this in the Designer Frames Embossing Folder. I decided that I wanted to added some more texture and dimension to the card so added one of the Designer buttons with the New Linen Thread through the centre.

Can you see that I've decorated the inside of the card......this stamp is from the Button Buddies Stamp set (another that needed some TLC)

Here is a closer view of the inside.

Making cards with folds, such as this gate fold is fast, fun and easy using my new Simply Scored!  If you would like to know more about this fabulous product and the Simply Scored packages which are designed to help you get the most from your new Simply Scored! check out this link and then email frankiesue@ntlworld.com to get your Simply Scored!

Baby Prints........

My mojo seemed to go out the window a little on Saturday, so I decided that I would case the card that was shown in the Summer Mini Catalogue.....

using the Baby Prints stamp set. That's one thing I love about Stampin' Up! they give you ideas on ways to use their stamps in their catalogues.

This card uses the Domestic Goddess Designer Series Papers, using the 1 3/8" Square punch I was able to cut a perfect pennant shape at the bottom of the strip. The sentiment is stamped in Pool Party and then punched out using the Scallop Square Punch, behind the mattering and layering I have used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. I decided that it was a shame to hid the little dots so I have raised mine a little higher that the image in the Summer Mini. The brad is one from the In Colour Collection 2011-2013.

Whilst watering my patio plants that evening, my neighbours granddaughter (whom I know quite well) arrived to show us her little bundle of joy...... I had just the card to give her!!

Thanks for stopping by at looking at my creation.

Happy Stampin'

Simply Scored

I'm just loving having fun making boxes at the moment with Stampin' Up!s New Simply Scored! Tool

Here is a box that I made using both the Simply Scored! Tool and the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.

I made the flowers out to the Attic Boutique DSP using the Fun Flowers Big Die and added on of the Antique Brads to the centre. The sentiment is from the new Apothecary Art stamp set (one I have yet to really play with) and did you notice the Striped Grosgrain Ribbon?

Another Cup of Tea anyone???

For those of you who where unable to make it to the Biggin Hill Craft Show yesterday, I though I would another project that I made using the Tea Shoppe stampset and the Attic Boutique Designer Series Papers.

For the card I have used Very Vanilla as the base, made a matt with the Attic Boutique DSP, on some Soft Suede and Pool Party (punched with the the Eyelet Border).  Using the Extra Large Oval punched out the sentiment and layered it in one of the Designer Frames Embossing Folders.

Using my New Simply Scored! Tool I created this matching Tea Caddy.........the Simply Scored! Tool makes making boxes, envelopes etc sooooooo much easier.  For the details of the special offer avaliable until the end of June click HERE.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday - Twitterpated DSP

Postings to my blog have been a bit hit and miss this past week, but hopefully I've got my brain into gear and got this right now......

Today I'll be at the Sincerely Yours Craft Show in Biggin Hill, so if you've got a spare five minutes and live local why not pop up and say Hi!!!!!!!

I'm going to share with you a couple of pages that my ladies made at their monthly scrapbook class this week. We used the Twitterpated DSP which are in the new Summer Mini Catalogue.

This first layout is really "girly" as I picked out the Blushing Bride pink in the DSP and added some of the Baja Breeze Satin Pleated Ribbon across the bottom of the page.  I have also stamped the flower centres using the Mixed Bunch Stampset and added some of the new Twitterpated Buttons.

Although the papers in this collection seem more girly I manged a couple of layouts using my nephew.....

I couldn't beleive my eyes when I looked back at the photographs I had taken, if I had tried to capture the moment I couldn't have....No his sister wasn't trying to  hit him, she was standing to the side spinning around in circles........

On this thrid layout I have used the matching stampset Bordering on Romance, along with one of the Twitterpated Fabrics.

The "Twitterpated Suite" are the products that I am featuring in my Summer Craft day more details can be found here.

Thank you for stopping my and looking at my creations........

Any one for a cup to tea??

Yesterday I decided that I would play along with the challenge over at Simply Stampin', this week its a colour challange

Having collected my Ink pads, Stampin' Write Markers, Re Inkers and card stock, I then had to decide which stampset I wanted to use. I reached out for my Tea Shoppe set and set about creating and here's what I came up with.......

I just love getting all messy at the moment so I went for the Re Inkers in the end.....this card also uses the Modern Label and Scalloped  Trim Border punches and is emblished with the Island Indigo ruffled ribbon.

The last two cards I have cut the tea cup out and raised it with Dimensional's on the first one I have slipped in a tea bag and the second one I have stamped the peony's onto the base card stock before adhering the tea cup. Can you spy the Island Indigo Bakers Twine???

I really enjoyed this challange as I hardly ever use Regal Rose and would never have thought of using it along side Real Red.  I hope you like my creations.

Mixed Bunch........

Mixed Bunch equals mixed feelings at the moment as Blogger seems to have lost two posts that I had scheduled.........oh well  at least I still have the photographs and can remember some of the waffle I wrote.

So today I will share the post that was due to have gone up on Monday and thats the quick make n take card that visitors got to make on Saturday at the Village Craft Cafe in Borough Green. They loved the fact that it had a matching punch - Blossom Punch and loved the fresh clean image, I think my colour choice had some thing to do with that!!

I had one young gentleman that kept coming back to see if the chairs we're empty, he ended up being the last one in the hall!!  but he was determined to have a go and his mum enjoyed his creation and also had a go herself.

will be back tomorrow to check whether my next scheduled post goes up...........

This weekend I've had fun Scrapping and Stamping for myself using a mixture of my other stamps along with all my Stampin' Up! products.

I even found time to join in with a challange over at Simply Stampin' and made 2 cards one which I was comminsioned to make by my daughter.

Both cards use Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper for their backgrounds as well as the Stitched-Poly Ribbon in Peach Parfait and Pear Pizzazz.

On the second card I have used on of   the New Adorning Accents Edgelit Dies and matching stamp from the Bordering on Romance stampset.  I need to play with these some more I think  ;o)

Be sure to pop back and see what else I've been up to this weekend later this week.

Scrapbookin' On Sundays

One of the reason's I love to Scrapbook is it brings back all the lovely memories of when the photographs were taken........today I have gone back several years on two different occasions, but both pictures have been Scrapped using Stampin' Up! s New Twitterpated Designer Series Paper.

This first layout I did was part of our "make n take" session out our Regional Training last Saturday, I finished mine when I got home and changed a few elements as the colours in my photograph didn't quite match.

There is a sentiment on the banner but the camera couldn't pick it up as its stamped in Pear Pizazz but it reads " Cherish Happy Moments" and is from the You're Cherished set on page 104 of the main Idea Book & Catalogue. The flowers are punched from various punches and did you see the little Baja Breeze button one of the flower centre's this is from the new Twitterpated Designer Button collection they are so dainty.

This second layout was inspired by a challenge over at ILWS as part of their birthday celebrations as they turn four this year......Happy Birthday!!

The Challenge was to complete project (card, 3D item, scrapbook page or other) using your favourite song as inspiration. One of my Favourite Songs although it has me in tears every time I hear it is "Dance with My Father" by Luther Vandross.

And I just so happened to remember that my dad gave a copy of a photograph with us dancing at his late parents Golden Wedding Anniversary party.

Again I have used the Twitterpated DSP but this time I have added in some stamped flowers using the Mixed Bunch Stampset and matching Blossom Punch.......have you noticed that lovely Satin Pleated Ribbon!

Blossom Punch...

As my pre-order goodies came before my punch art class last month I gave my ladies a little treat and gave them a bonus project which incorapted the New Blossom Punch....

Can you guess what we made with it?

Just a couple of Circle Punches, Blossom Punch makes this cuddly Lion. Isn't he adorable?

This second one I made with my brother in mind, as he supports Millwall! (sorry not sure what happen to colour in this one).

Mixed Bunch

Today I thought I would share with you a couple of cards that I made with the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set and matching Punch.

I made these the other evening when I had my reinkers and baby wipes out.......I so love getting messy!! thats the great thing with Stampin' Up! Inks is they come out in the wash.........

The colour combination is Marina Mist, Pretty in Pink and Elegant Eggplant, on this first card I printed all over the Whisper White card stock before matting and layering it. I also used my Tiny Tags stamp set again with matching punch for the sentiment and attached that using a small crystal brad.

The card below is so quick and simply........especailly if you need a card in a hurry needless to say I punched out a hole sheet of flowers, just in case I forget some one's birthday and I bet I'm not the only one that does it!!

If you wish to have a your own copy of the Mini Catalogue then drop me an email at frankiesue@ntlworld.com  with your address on and I'll pop one in the post to you.....

New Starter Kit !!

As I  promised yesterday I'm back to share with you more details of Stampin' Up!s NEW starter kit.

Stampin' Up! have now made their starter kit fully customisable and whats even better is they have also reducded the price to just £99!

that means you build your own personal kit by picking £130 worth of ANY of their high-quality products, they'll add in a business supply pack valued at £45 (to help you get your business up and running), and then you've got your own customised kit worth up to £175 for just £99!

In addition to this new starter kit, Stampin' Up! have just announced (well I knew on Saturday when I went to Regional Training and was sworn to secrecy) that for New Demonstrators who sign up in May will receive a FREE ticket to their Annual Convention which is worth £149.00 and this year is going to be  extra special as they are celebrating their 5th year in the European Market.

Please feel free to drop me an email with your telephone number on and we can have a friendly, informal chat about whether becoming a demonstrator is something that you would love to do alternatively click on the page  "why not join my team"

I couldn't go without sharing  a project using a Stamp set from the Summer Mini now could I??

Well here it is

The stamp set is called Tea Shoppe and here I used the babywipe technique with Stampin' Up!s reinkers - Rich Razzleberry, Crumb Cake and Always Artichoke, to create my own "Ink Pad"

This is one stampset I defiently will be inking up a fair bit!!

NEW Summer Mini!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited to share with you today Stampin' Up! s NEW Summer Mini Catalogue!!

To celebrate this I have joined in with my fellow demonstrators with a Blog Hop showcasing the lovely products in the catalogue - Scoreboard, Framelits, Bakers twine are to name only a few of the items I have fallen in love with!!

To view the catalogue online click on the picture in the side bar.

It was so hard to choose which items I wanted to play first from my pre-order, but as one of my card classes this month is entitled "One for the Men" I went with the new set The Open Sea.

"A note of thanks" is the card that I made for my swaps at our regional training last Saturday, I didn't have time to make a swap for all the demonstrators that attended (there were 126). This sentiment is from the Thank You Kindly set in the Main Idea Book & Catalogue.

As well as using The Open Sea stamp set I have also used the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I stamped the ship image into the frame which is on one of the sheets of  Designer Series Paper in the Beau Chateau collection, then using the blender pens and inks coloured the image.

Thankyou for stopping by please leave me a comment so I know you've visited.

If you didn't come over from Sarah's then be sure to pop back and have a look around, or why not  pop on over to Ann-maries' and see what she's been upto.
Tomorrow I'll be back to share with you some even more exciting news regarding the New Starter Kit for new demonstrators, which from today will be just £99.00
