Birthday Wishes

Birthday wishes go to my neice Rebecca who is 4 today!!

Knowing that Recbecca loves her pony "Taffy" and her favourite colour is purple I am going to share with you the card that I made for her

The card used for the base and layers is Concord Crush which I have co ordinated with the Wistera Wonder DSP and Ruffled Ribbon.  (The image is one from my stash before I become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and can't remember where it came from).

The sentiment is  the Swirls &  Curls Verses which can be found in Spring Mini Catalogue, but is only avaliable to hostesses.........so why not book your own party and you could earn it as part of your hostess pounds should you sales reach the required amount.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Today's layout is from my neighbours wedding. Here they have just come  back from the registry office and the bride is just going to change  ready for their Hindu ceremony.

For this layout I have used a piece of designer paper from the Paisley Petals collection  then added a piece of Tangerine Tango card stock which I have added fake stitching  with my gel pen.

The doilies are a strip that I cut from one of the Flirtatious designer papers, which I have inked with river rock and tangerine tango. The photo is mounted on River Rock card stock and I have punched out a Decorative Label in river rock which I can journal the date on to.

Ribbon Flowers........

I deceided that I needed to dust off a couple of my stampsets that I hadn't used recently......so today I'm going to share one with you that I made using the Vintage Vogue set.

I've also used a couple of colours that I havev't used for a little while as well - Always Artichoke and Melon Mambo.

I just love  shabby effect when using the 1 1/4 striped Grosgrain Ribbon to make these flowers, so to match it  up I used Stampin' Up!s Cutter Tool to make the effect on the matted layers.

Don't forget if you would like to purchase any of the items made to use this card or other products from the current Stampin' Up! catalogues (in the side bar) then please contact me frankiesue@ntlworld.com

Scrapbookin' On Sundays.........

Since taking up cradmaking 5 years ago and becoming an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin' Up! which I throughly enjoy!!

My other passion is Scrapbooking.......so on a Sunday I will be sharing with you not only my layouts that I teach at my scrapbooking classes but my memories as well.

Today's layout is very special to me as it is an old friend that I met on the "DoCrafts Atc Forum" who sadly passed away just before Christmas. We were great room mates on several of the "Luffy Meets" and had some great laughs........as you can imagine when scrapping this layout a few tears were shed.

This layout using 3 pieces of the Spiced Paisley Designer Papers and one sheet of Bravo Burgunday 12x12 cardstock.

My Scrapbooking classes are avaliable by post so please contact me for details at frankiesue@ntlworld.com

Everything Eleanor

Whilst surfing the net this week I came across this sketch and challange
over at Mary Jo's Blog and I thought I would play along with her challange and Blog Hop.

I've used the Sale-a-Bration Everyday Enchantment DSP and inked up my Everything Eleanor stamps in Baja Breeze and coloured the centre of the flowers with a So Saffron marker pen using my colour coach as guide to the choices that work well with Poppy Parade. I used the new Chantilly Lace Crochet Trim to give it the finishing touch.

I enjoyed playing along and look forward to the next challange......time permitting!!
