Bootiful Occaisions

Here they are a couple of days later than anticipated due to unforeseen circumstances.......... my car again but its all sorted now so at least I can play with out feeling guilty!!

This card also uses the lovely Northern Flurry Embossing Folder, I have used Stampin' Up!s Shimmer Card Stock to stamp on as well as adding my all time favourite Dazzling Diamonds being careful I stamped  the chosen image from the Bootiful Occasions  stamp set on a separate piece of  Shimmer card stock and cut it out using the Labels Framelits.

On this second card I have emphasized the wellington Boot by covering it with Crystal Effects making it shinny, the camera doesn't pick it up. Can you spy you new products???

Yes there are two new products on the card, the DSP and Ribbon. Both of these along with other items will be available during the Sale a Bration period (22 January-22 March).

As its Stampin' Up! s 25th  Anniversary then you can be assured that this years Sale a Bration is the best EVER !  You will seriously NOT be disappointed.

Northern Flurry Christmas Cards

I wasn't going to purchase the Northern Flurry Embossing folder but I am so glad that I changed my mind.

Below you can see  two of the three different Christmas cards that I made this year with it for my Christmas Cards. This first card features the sentiment from the Greeting of the Seasons stamp set.

This second card uses one of the sentiments that can be found it the Delightful Dozen stamp set.

Both card use the same colour combination of Island Indigo, Pool Party and Whisper White. And they wouldn't be Christmassy from me unless they had a bit of Dazzling Diamonds on them.

Well I must run as I have to get the last of the shopping before running down to Portsmouth to fetch Amy so that she can spend Christmas with us here at home.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

This is my favourite photo of  my daughters  Amy, Heidi and Lucy and I just couldn't resist scrapping it again this time for one of their albums.

The stamps  used  for the back ground are from The Open Sea and Creative Elements  set and the shapes are cut from the Comfort Cafe DSP using one of the shapes from the Apothecary Accents Framelits collection.

I chose The Open Sea set as it went with the scenery behind the girls - Portmouth Harbour.  Which is were I will be again tomorrow - Christmas eve........picking up Amy so she can spend Christmas with us as home.

If you would like more information about my scrapbook club either to attend in person or receive by post email sue@frankiesuestampin.com

Lovely as a Tree Christmas Card

Opps  a daisy missed a post yesterday!!  and I can blame that on the car as it broke down whilst I was out getting a few prezzie's and I had to wait 2 hours for the lovely RAC man to help me.

Today's post is a card that I made back in October, which I thought I had shared with you before but having looked back I haven't so here it is..........

It uses both  the Lovely as a Tree and Curly Cute stamp sets. I have also used Stampin' Up!s new pricking tool and  one of the New Piercing sets.

Well I must dash as its time that I caught up with some more of the bits on my to do list before the big day.......the second batch of mince pies are ready to go in the oven.........another 6 dozen  to go unless my brothers turn up and then I'll be back to square one!!!

Petite Purse

Phew not only did I manage to make up the Santa boxes for my friends Childminding group, sure is going to be fun today helping them to decorate them.

Whilst I had my big shot out I thought I would make up my own gift boxes ready for Christmas Day dinner. Last year I made little Santa's using the Pillow Box Die so I thought that I would do something different this year and I decided as we have 3 daughters I would make up some elegant purses using the Petite Purse Bigz L Die.

Here I have used up some old cardstock and retired Stampin' Up! brads that I had laying around, along with that lovely Glimmer Paper punched with the Boho Blossom punch

As Frank and Lucy's young man will be there I had to make them some thing a little different I couldn't really see them being impressed with a Purse !!!!!!!!!!!!

Now all that's left for me to do with them is fill them up with a little treat.....hmm what to put in them??

Well must go as I don't want to disappoint 48 little people

Ornament Keepsake Card

Today I am going to share with you a Christmas card that I received this week from one of my lovely downline - Melanie.

Melanie has used the Ornament Keepsakes stampset and matching Framelits along with the Window Frames collection from the Autum/Winter catalogue. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments punched out using the Word Window punch and then mounted on cardstock punched out using the Modern Label Punch.

I love the way she has given the illusion of using a layer of red cardstock on the Designer Paper from the Festival of Prints paper stack.

Right I must dash as I have offered to help my best friend out and make up 48 Santa Boxes for the Childminding Drop in group she runs.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

At Scrapbook Club this week we made 2 Mini albums and did one Scrapbook layout, here are the pictures of two of the projects using the Twitterpated DSP and co-ordinating cardstock.

Here I have used the Boho Blossom Punch to make a wreath of flowers around the word JOY on the Labels framelits.

This Mini album unfolds and you use enevelopes for the flaps, this allows you to add photos in the middle so potential you can display 22 Photo's in this Album.

On this layout I have used the Ornament Punch as a mask to create more ornaments and I had some of the retired Satin pleated ribbon that we all could use. I will add more embellishments and a title once the pictures are on the page. Many of the ladies who come tho the club choose to add their photos and journalling when they get home.

Here are a couple of pictures that one of the ladies took this week of us beavering away.

If you would like to find out more about Scrapbooking why not join my Scrapbook Club - we meet once a month and you will get a kit of supplies which will allow you to make at least 4 pages for your album.  You will be shown everything you need to know and there will be at least 4 inspiration pages for you to either copy or use as a start point for your own creations.  To find out more please email sue@frankiesuestampin.com

Frosty Friends Gifts

I don't know about you but I love candles especially in the winter months..........here are a couple that I have decorated using those cute snowmen from "Frosty Friends" they are coloured in using the Stampin Write Markers. The Sentiment is stamped in Island Indigo and is from the Seasonal Greetings Set.

When I first was shown how to do this I was truly amazed at how simple it was and so are the ladies who attend my classes and have tried this technique.  As you can use any stamp, it makes them a very versatile gift for example mothers day and anniversary's.

Did you notice the piece of card stock under the candles???  this is just a little note I pop in the candles reminding people to be careful as I would hate the unthinkable to happen.

Well I must dash as I want to get my shopping done for the mad rush starts out there......

Everything Eleanor Congratulations

Although I'm really busy getting my Christmas Cards made so I don't miss the last posting date!

I thought I would share with you a non Christmas card or gift, that I made for one of my team last month.

Here I  stamped over the First Edition DSP with the swirl from Everything Eleanor stamp set in Wild Wasabi. Using the rock n roll technique I stamped the" label" in Real Red and then added the sentiment from the Curly Cute set.

I just love using Stampin' Up! s Glimmer Paper stock as the glitter doesn't fall off  when its touched, it also  goes through the punches really nice too!!  Currently  the Glimmer Paper  is available in 3 different colours - Real Red, Silver and Champagne.  The Champagne colour is in the Seasonal Catalogue therefore only available until the end of January.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today come back tomorrow where I will have another quick gift idea to share with you.

You Can't Catch Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I'm going to share with you a quick card made using the Gingerbread Man from the Scentsational Season stamp set.

I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo but I have stamped the "steam" on the base before adding some paper from the Snow Festival Series. Using some Bakers Twine I added the sentiment from  the Tiny Tags stamp set punched with its matching punch, along with the Gingerbread Man.

The Scentsational Stampet can be found on page 16 of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue and is one of the stamp sets that has a matching set of Framelit's, which makes cutting their shapes out a lot easier.

The way you tell if a stamp set has a matching framelit for it is that it will be outlined with a red line, should the stamp be out lined in blue then this means it has a co-ordinating punch.  Like the two sentiments that I have used for this card.

To place an order for the items used to make card or any other  current Stampin' Up! Products then please email sue@frankiesuestampin.com

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

As  I mentioned yesterday the Festival of Prints Paper Stack not only can be used for card making but for Scrapbook layouts as well. Here I have used them with the New Snow Flurry Bigz Die and Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags.

On this layout I have added some Dazzling Details on to the Scalloped Tulle Ribbon to give it some sparkle as well as making some hexagon snow flakes using Stampin' Dimensionals and dipping them into some Glass Stampin' Glitter.

On this second layout I have also used the Ornament Keepsakes Stamp set and matching Holiday  Ornament Framelits along with some Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Tulle Ribbon.

Did you spot me in the layout??? Its not often that I scrap photo's of with myself in them as I'm usually the one behind the camera.
