This really takes me out of my comfort zone as I don't like to be rushed so here are my 2 one hour challanges for the week end.......

This has to be one of my favourite pictures and my one of my favourite layouts of the weekend.......Lousie taught us how to do this technique with some other stamps but as I had my Stampin' Up! ones with me I chose to use them instead.

This is using the Garden Whimsy set, Kraft and Whisper White Cardstock and Bordering Blue Ink... see I told you I got to play with a Stampin' Up! top note die this weekend.......... fingers crossed for the new idea book and catalogue.

Scrapping with Stampin' Up! as promised

Here are 2 layouts I have used using the new Stampin' Up! Night and Day Specialty Designer papers in the Mini Catalogue the second one also incorporates the Vintage Vogue Stamp set.......
As soon as I saw these papers I knew I had to recreate a layout I had done previously with some other black and white papers, unfortunaley it would have taken rather a few brads so I had to sadly use gems from my other stash!! Yes the girls did point out to me that these where not from Stampin' Up!

But in the second layout everything is Stampin' Up!.. I even splashed out and used my pretties kit its so gorgeous I didn't want to use it at first.......and even managed to dye some ribbon.

As promised

Here are the photographs of the card the ladies made using Stampin' Up! products only and the new designer paper stack Sweet Pea, this weekend at our scrapbooking retreat......

I firstly the Taken with Teal collection
the Olive Collection.....

the Rose collection..........

Yes one of the ladies was given a Stampin' Up! top note die as a present from an American Penpal, I was even lucky enough to have a play with it myself!!

I found it difficult to chose a winner so I let the ladies put it to a vote and the winner was this lovelly easel card made by Jude. Well done Jude I cant wait to see what you do with the rest of the Stack of Sweet Pea Designer papers......

News flash.................

I've just got back from my weekend away scrapping to find that I can share some up coming news with you ...... that in October Stampin' Up! are changing their Colour Collections! and bringing in "In Colours"
The "In Colour" programme has been a very successful colour programme in other Stampin' Up markets and we are really excited that its coming over here. "In Colours" are a selection of new colours that our introduced every year, in addition to the core colour families. Each year there will be 5 new colours introduced and they remain for 2 years.

These are the New Colour Collections from October 201o

Sadly will be saying goodbye to the following colours.......

I must admit that I'm a little sad to see some of the colours going but really can't wait to play with the New Colours.
Don't forget if you want to place an order with me for the colours your going to miss or anything else then just email me at
right I'm off to unpack all my stuff and take pictures of the layouts that I completed this weekend so I can share them with you throughout the week, so be sure to come back and check them out.

Scrapping retreat........

I just love these its great to get away and just scrap with out any interuptions from children and hubbies alike.........

As I know the Fab group of ladies going this weekend, I was asked to do a workshop;but I didn't really want to eat into their SCRAPING time so I've decided to do something totally different!!
I've given them a selection of 6x6 designer papers from the New Sweet Pea Stack, a length of ribbon and some cardstock and have challanged them all to make a card over the weekend........

The ONLY Rule they have to stick to is they can only use Stampin' Up! products on their cards, this they wont have a problem with as I've ONLY packed Stampin' Up! products for myself to use for the whole weekend and they can use what they want!!!!!!!!

I cant wait to share their creations with you when I get back.
