In for a penny in for a pound !!!

as the saying goes..... for the design team call over at Bizzy becs

I've been wanting to use some of my Stampin' Up! Designer papers for ages but havent seemed to do so until now. These are from the Rainbow Sherbert pack, to me a very bright summery range.

I have used one of my penny black stamps for the image (sorry cant remember her name). I think she's adorable! reminds me of when my children were younger and doing this with my clothes...

She's been blinged up with stickles, asstorted gems and prima flowers.

Anniversary........

I've used this weeks Friday Sketchers challange for the layout for this card.

I have had another commision to make another card by a husband for his wife on their upcoming Anniversary, the only thing that he gave me to work with was that she liked " walking". After delving through my stamps I found that I had nothing so a kind friend Judith (Jude), lent me a stamp for a couple of days to play with.
Thanks Jude!!!!!!!

Aren't they an adorable couple........ I'm so in love with this little character avaliable from Hannah Stamps.
When I was asked to make a card by the brides mother using her daughters colour scheme for the wedding Royal Blue. Riley and Sophie just popped into my head......

Mojo Monday

As some of you know I'm recovering from carpel tunnel surgery on my right hand at the moment, so haven't been able to do much stamping..... or taking part in challanges.

Today I took the plunge and have done this weeks Mojo Monday's challange #95, using a penny black image, basic grey papers and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s Oval all set.

I'm hoping to get as much crafting as possible done over the school summer holidays as they have set the date for my left hand to be done, mid September....... especially my christmas cards.

This weeks class

Here is a picture of this weeks class project.

My classes are held every other Wednesday, if your interested and are able to get to St Mary Cray in Kent then please feel free to email me at frankiesue@ntlworld.com for further details.

been playing.........

Today I went over to my good friend Shaz's to have a play with her new stamps, inks and cardstock from Papertrey Ink. The colours were delicious........ Rasberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst and Plum Pudding.

So that my youngest daughter (Heidi) wasn't left home alone again she came along, after watching a bit of TV she decided to come and join us.

Here are the 2 cards that she made, the only help she had was with the background grid lines the rest was down to her...... I think she did really well.

Shoe Box Swap

Over at In love with stamping, some of the demonstrators got together for a "shoe" box swap. For those of you who are unsure of what that entails I'll explain, each of you prepares a project either a 3D one or Card, and puts in enough items (already cut to size) for every one to complete .

So at the end of the day you go home with another 7 completed items all hopefully very different, well ours where no one used the same stamp set, some of the themes and colours where the same but ALL very different. It was great fun.

Here are some pictures of the project that I prepared for them to make up a "Christmas" themed Circle flap book, using Stampin' Up! Holiday Treasures Designer paper, coordinating inks, Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red and Old Olive as well as using the heat and bond with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I also used stamps from 3 different stamp sets Snow Burst, Season of Joy and Perfect Presents.
