Last nights class project......

Here is the project my ladies made with me last night. A mini "pizza" box filled with an assortment of cards for different occasions. I think it makes a neat gift for someone.

As my ladies are fairly new to crafting I thought I would introduce them to watercolouring using the Stampin' Up ink pads and Aqua painters. We used one of the stamp sets I got in my starter kit "Fun and Fast Notes" and some designer papers that I had lying around.

They really enjoyed the watercolouring saying "its very relaxing"

Sorry.........

With the lovely weather we have been having I've been a bit of a bad blogger as I've been spending time in my little garden........ well patio really and tending to my plants and relaxing.
My hand is still playing up if I stamp or craft toooooo much!!

My favourite one has to be this rose, which i bought back from the brink of death for 99p two years ago, its called "Dreamlover"!!

Stampers 10 ??

Would you like to join a Stampin' Up! Club?

A stamper’s club is an opportunity for you to build up a comprehensive Stampin’ Up! collection over a period of time without breaking the bank and ensuring you still receive the fantastic hostess benefits associated with a qualifying order.

You would commit to a ten month membership, agreeing to spend £15 per month from the catalogue. (That’s £3.75 per week - the price of a magazine!) More is allowed, and if you know that you will want to spend at least £30 per month, then you can take two slots. A qualifying order each month has a minimum value of £150.
For this the hostess is eligible to the following FREE benefits:
One level one hostess stamp set of her choice (these are sets that cannot be bought; they can only be earned with qualifying orders of £150 or more)

At least £15.00 worth of free product to be spent in the catalogue
Free catalogue 2008/9 and the NEW one in Sept

Free mini catalogue

Free postage (hostess month only)

Each month a DIFFERENT member gets to be the hostess and collects all the free benefits associated with that month's total.

If you wish to join the stampers 10 and don’t live locally that’s not a problem, you can still qualify for the hostess benefits.

To run this club we would need :

10 members to commit for 10 months with a minimum spend of £15.00 plus P&P.

As soon as I have enough members, the club can start - so if you know anyone who would be interested please tell them. My email address is frankiesue@ntlworld.com

I gave in...............

I knew I couldn't last the 2 weeks the doctor ordered............LOL

Here is what I have come up for my ladies to do at their class this evening. Having chatted with them over the last few weeks it became clear that the men in thier lives weren't into the usual sporty things but have a passion for collecting books and liking cats. I hope they like this weeks projects.

It was fun but I managed to do most of the cutting, triming and binding with my left hand, I had a little help cutting the wire. The papers and card stock is from Stampin' Up! and the cat image is from Joanna Sheen

No Stamping.......

No Stamping for me for at least 2 weeks..........as I just got back from my carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand (left to follow real soon). Surgeon even offered me to watch him which I quickly declined....lol

I'm sitting here at home giving them all the royal wave.........lol well have to follow docs orders if i want it to heal right.

So at the moment learning to do everything with opp hand which is really frustrating..........at least i'll have time to do a bit of blog hopping and get some lovelly ideas for when I can Stamp.

Black and White with a punch of Colour......

Over at the Stamp Shack I joined in a swap titled "Black and White with a Punch of Colour" and here is what I created.
I used two of my favourite stamps at the moment the background is from the Baraoque Motifs set from Stampin' Up! and the image is from Sugar nellie. I've used Rose red (Stampin' Up! card stock and marker pens) as my punch of colour for the flowers, emblishing the punched ones with pearls and the others with crystal stickles.
