Mojo Monday

Again here is another challange using my Stampin' Up! kit.

The main image is stamped in real red and old olive inks and is from the Garden Whimsy set, the sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip and is from the Cheers and Wishes set. The card stock used is from the Earth Elements range Chocolate Chip and Ruby Red. The organza ribbon is from my own stash.

Thank you

Well after I had finished all my household chores, it was very late in the evening when managed to sit down and play with my Stampin' Up! kit.

One of my favourite colours from Stampin' Up! is Chocolate chip so I based my card around that and also looked at the Sketch Saturday for an idea.

I used Seeing Spots stamp set for the sentiment and Fun and Fast notes for the image using my nesties to cut them out on white whisper card stock. The image was then coloured in using Stampin' Up! pastels. I used 3 colours of card stock Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip and Barely Banana. On the Barely Banana I used by Jumbo wheel Whimsy with Chocolate Chip ink and added a strip of Chocolate Chip gross grain ribbon.

Yipee!!!!

I'm so excited as my demonstrsator's kit from Stampin Up! arrived this week. I've been willing the weekend to come along so I can have a good old play with it.

But I'm in a quandary as to which stamp set to play with first...LOL

New reciepe..........

Over on Cute Card Thursday this week #52 they gave you a reciepe to make a card which was :~
Take some thing ripped;
2 papers and
4 emblishments

This is what I cooked up using my newly acquired Penny Black stamp (watercoloured), Papermaina papers, 2 brads, length of ribbon and a gem.

Keep in touch

Keep in Touch is another stamp set from Stampin Up, which I purchase off a crafting friend. I decided that I would ink it up for the Sketch saturday challange #43 and would use the rectangluar shape of the stamp to make the cards shape.

This stamp is from the Classic Caption Set and is stamped on cream cardstock with vintage sepia mounted on french roast coordinations card and the papers are from K&company.

Stampin Up

My Secret Sister (Christine) over on the Shack sent me this set of Stamps in her reveal package. This is my first creation using Stampin Up products, but it won't be me last as I have recently signed up to be an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin up. I'm just waiting for my demo kit to arrive so I can get really started.

This stamp set is called " Delight in Life" which I have stamped in Vintage Sepia and watercoloured to match cardstock from my stash.

Mojo Monday on Thursday..........LOL

Mojo Monday challange my mojo finally kicked in with this challange this afternoon, as I was tidying up my craft area. I came across these papers that went with the Tilda I had in mind, they are from K&Company. The ribbon and plain card stock was from my stash, to add the finishing touch I added a pink tearose. I have left the bottom righthand corner for a sentiment to be added later.

Truly Scrumptious Challange 3

Sue( Artyfarty) suggested that I do this challange to do one of the Easter cards I was asked to make, so I went off and made up 2 cards in the end. One for easter and the other one for mothers day......or I'd be in big trouble.

Both cards are made using basic grey papers, ribbons where from my stash and the Images are RAK's from Sue (penny black )and Linda (Tilda) Thankyou ladies for your kindness.

Sketch and Stash challange #6

Heres my creation for the sketch and stash challange #6. I decided to incorparate it with the batch of Easter cards that I have been asked to make for a friends grandchildren.
For this one I have used my new Tilda with her bunny stamp, coloured her in watercolours then mounted her on oval nesties. The background papers are all from the Sugared Basic Grey collection and I've emblished it using some prima flowers and gems.

Paper piecing

Here is a thankyou card I was asked to make for our Church Warden, who is stepping down after 5 years service. He does a lot of maintenance work so I decided that I would use my rubber necker stamps that have been sitting in a draw waiting to be played with. The main papers are from the basic grey collection archaic, the tools have been made by paper piecing from scraps in my stash.

This was my first attempt at paper piecing, it was a lot easier than I expected, especially after Sue showed my how.

Easter blessings

on the Magnolia down under challange #3, we were asked to incorporate 3 items on our card ~ the image had to be of Tilda, use yellow ribbon and a flower.

Here I've used Tilda holding her egg sitting on a hay bale tied with yellow ribbon and added some chicks to her right. The sentiment is from Elyzbells and cut out with nestie labels #2 from spellbinders. I've used water colours to colour the image and the papers are from own stash.

A Spoon Full of Sugar challange #42

I thought I'd have a bash at "A Spoon Full of Sugar"'s Challange for this week.
I've used a RAK'd (random act of kindness) image that Linda sent me the other day (thanks once again for these Linda) and combined this with papers from Basic Grey's "Sugared" collection.
Then emblished it with some prima flowers and gems.

Magonila challange ~ 5 ribbons

The Challange this week was to use at least 5 pieces of ribbon, they could be the same colour but different shades. Well I ended up using 7! brown and 5 different shades of purple, in the basket and another shade for the bow on the basket.

I've used the flower girl tilda and colour her using a mixture of different mediums: watercolours, sukura pens and whispers pens and chalked the background of the basket. In the basket I popped some prima flowers.

I mounted the basket and tilda on some lilac card and then mounted this on some gorgeous wrapping paper that I had lying around.

An Award....

I was really surprised whilst blog hopping on the sites that I follow to find that Linda had given me this award.
There is one rule that comes with this award and that is you have to pass it on to 10 people, this is going to be such a hard decision, as I love all the blogs I visit.
Heres my 10 (in NO particular order) ~ Sue, Joey, Sian, Pesc, Nicks, Chrisite, Barb, Chelsea, Ethel and Sherri.

Autumn Tilda

I decided that I'd try and incorporate 2 challanges in one. The one on Sketch and Stash for the lay out and Magnoila Down Under Challange #1 which had 3 criteras to be met:

Has to have RED… brads and backing paper

Has to have a Tilda not Edwin…. def tilda

And lastly has to have a Autumn Theme… colours and title

I coloured image in using my Caranache watercolour pencils and added some green organza ribbon

My Elzybells arrived.........

My "Mega Blog Candy" arrived this morning from Elzybells and I just had to have a play with it. I decided that I'd try and combine it with the Mojo Monday challange for this week. Here's what I came up with.

"Toodles and Binks" stamps

I went to a local craft show called "Sincerley Yours" and came across a lady playing with these stamps. They have others in the range but this was my favourite its called "Toodles and Binks Skate".

Here I've coloured in Whispers pens and then added glitter for effect. For the background I used my cuttlebug folder snowflakes chalked over them in matching colours, papers are from my stash and I used some silver ribbon to hide the join.

Friday Sketchers challange

I quickly made up these cards for the Friday Sketchers challange which can be found here.

Here I've used some papers that I've had laying around for ages and my new "Daisy and Dandelion" stamp set that I managed to get on friday night. That I was dying to play with, I've jazzed her up with flowers with a little gem.

So Happy!!!!!!!!

I can't beleive my luck at the moment... not only did I win Elyzbells MEGA blog Candy

but I'm in her weekly Sunday showcase, which can be found here.

All I can say is thankyou to Elizbeth and I look forward to playing with your newly released stamps.
