Opps!!!!!!!!!!
Its been ages since I've updated my blog I'm so sorry to all that have popped on to find nothing new............well lots has happened since the middle of August.
We had our family vaccation to Bulgaria, were we really did chill out on the beach, with a bit of site seeing. My best part was the "Donkey Safari" where we saw a traditonal Bulgarian village, had a BBQ and then spent the rest of the day in the water park. Frank surprised me the most by going on ALL the water rides!!
In October Frank and I went to Ireland, without the girls to see our Godchildren, although we only had a couple of days it was great to see them. Hoping to see them again in the new year.
Crafting wise I've really got into scrapping in a big way. I'm half way through scrapping our holiday photo's along with loads of others and will add them to my blog as soon as possible.
My favourite page at the moment uses the photo's of our schools carnival which I have been asked to teach at a crop in October 2009.
With hand on my heart I can honestly say that I made every single christmas card that I sent this year which is a first and hope that next year, I'll be able to make some gifts for friends and family using the toys I got for christmas.

new penny black stamps
" My Patio"
I thought that I'd share some of the pictures I've taken of my patio area, I really do miss not having a garden of my own anymore but I like to keep my hand in with my potted plants!
I think they've done really well this year, even managed to keep my tomato plants alive and the fuchsia's are so pretty I even treated my self to a new one which is a climber.
I keep my hand in at work though with the children as we have made our own sensory garden using a variety of plants, they love the smell of the lavender and various mints we've planted along with the curry plants. And they like the way fennel tickles their legs as the walk past.

Carnival
Every 3 years our school holds a carnival this year our theme was Earth. The whole school learnt "Love can build a bridge" it had some of the parents in tears and even bought a lump to my throat when I heard them all together.

One of my new stamps
This is a card that I've made for a colour challenge with one of my new stamp sets that I got from The Angel Company. I think she's fab!
I've used Sakuara and Whisper pens to colour the image and highlighted the flower centre's with cotton candy stickles, which I have also put around the edge of the card before matting it on the orange cardstock. I used an Anita's sentiment stamped in orange.

3 of the pages I finished at my crop today.
Wow was really pleased with my 1st crop today, I managed to complete 3 whole pages and have 2 left to embellish!
These first 2 pages were from our visit in May up to see Angy and Gwen (Minimaker/Mum). We had a fabulous time although the weather wasn't all that great.
The day we went to Bridgenorth it was very windy. Here you can see Frank my darling hubby, playing the joker and pretending his got muscles....LOL

Scrapping on Canvas
Alchol Inks
Here I've used one of my favourite stamps at the moment with my Alcohol inks..these are really to use.
You apply your chosen colours to the applicator, adding the blending solution if you want the colours less subtle.. and then stamp away!
I like it as you never now how the colours will turn out..every time you stamp you get a different effect.
