Ink.Stamp.Share Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Monthly Blog Hop .....this months theme is

"Christmas in July"

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Cindy's  blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

We're having a mini heat wave here in the UK at the moment, so it seems really strange creating Christmas cards at the moment.

For my card I've used  a strip of dsp from the Painted Christmas collection from  the upcoming Mini Catalogue, along with the gorgeous Be Dazzling Specialty Paper from the new Sale A Bration offerings coming up in August to end of September.  And from the annual Catalogue - Bark Embossing folder and the Evergreen Elegance stamp set.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create this card can be ordered via my Online store here.  Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me, if you order is under £150.

Ink.Stamp.Share Showcase Blog Hop - July

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Showcase Blog Hop .....the purpose of this hop is to show you what we have all been working on during the month.

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Cindy's  blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

For my showcase project I'm going to share with you is a card I made using the ?? Designer Series Paper - did you know that this month a selection of papers have 15% off them this is one of them, for more information please click here

For this card I have used four different sheets of the DSP and paired it up with the coordinating dies and stamp set, as some of the dies match the images of the DSP... isn't that fab.

The sentiment has been stamped using one of the new incolours - Evergreen Elegance from the Pansy Patch stamp set and cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. To finish this card off I added on of the Bumblebee Trinkers aren't they cute and added Matt Black Dots to the Pansy's centres.

As I had used pattern paper inside the card, I cut another rectangle shape from the Stitched So Sweetly dies so that I could write a message in for the recipient.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create this card can be ordered via my Online store here.
Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me should your order be under £150.

Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop - "Case the Catty"

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Monthly Blog Hop .....this months theme is

"Case the Catty"

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from Annette's blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

My understanding of CASE is Copy And Share Everything

I have chosen to case the card on page 64 using the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp set and coordinating dies.

Using the confetti/ribbon stamp I stamp the matt layer in the same colour ink - Polished Pink, one of my favorite new Incolors and I'm not a pinky person.

I then stamped the chick image with the balloon, in Smoky Slate Ink before using my Wink of Stella  Glitter Brush to pick up the Polished Pink ink to give the balloon some sparkle.

Then I used my watercolour pencils to give the chick its feather colours - basic black and basic gray. . Having adhered the image to the matt layer I then die cut the Happy Birthday in Basic Black Card stock having adhered that to some foam adhesive sheet to give it some depth.

For the finishing touches I added some Matte Black Dots.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create this card can be ordered via my Online store here.  Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me, if you order is under £150.

Ink.Stamp.Share Show Case Blog Hop - June

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Showcase Blog Hop .....the purpose of this hop is to show you what we have all been working on during the month.

The projects are designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world.

You may have joined me from  Jo's  blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration.

For my showcase project I'm going to share with you is a project I made using the Turtle Friends stamp set, this is available in a bundle with a coordinating punch for the larger turtle (which would save you 10% of the purchase price) but for my project I paired the stamp set with the Picture This Dies.

Firstly having cut the circle's from the Picture This Die set on a piece of Basic White card stock, I drew round the holes lightly with a pencil onto another piece of white card stock so I knew where I was stamping the images and sentiment.

The circles that are die cut out I have saved for another project...... so they won't be wasted.

When adhering these to layers together I used Stampin' Dimensionals I'm not sure whether you can see this from the photograph.

The Turtle's are stamped in Evening Evergreen, one of this years Incolours and coloured in using the Light Granny Apple Stampin' Blends. And as your never sure whether it'll be a boy or a girl, I made one of each - Balmy Blue and Blushing Bride

Being only able to sit and craft for 20 minutes at a still at the moment due to Spinal surgery, I found that this card I could do a little, go have a rest and then come back to them.. so they took me a couple of days to complete but I'm really pleased how they turned out.

The Stampin' Up! supplies used to create these cards can be ordered via my Online store here.  Don't forget to use this month's hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me, if your order is under £150.
