For this card I have used my Stampin' Up! write markers - Lucky Limeade, Poppy Parade and Pool Party, to colour the image. You will see that I have also used a piece of the Everyday Enchantment DSP and some of this years new range of Ruffled Ribbon.

The sentiment is from Happiest Birthday Wishes.

This is my favourite Sale-a-Bration stampset.....I think you will see quite a few cards being done over the next few weeks with this set...

Firstly I stamped my 2 images on some Crumb Cake Card stock, then using a piece of the Everyday Enchantment DSP (again from the Sale-a-Bration Collection) mounted on a piece of Bashful Blue cardstock which I had punched with the Scallop Trim Border punch. I then added a Pearl and Bashful Blue satin bow to finish it off.

Snap, Crackle and Pop !!!!!!!!

Tonight is my monthly Scrapbooking class and I thought that I would share one of the layouts that we are doing this evening.......involving Masking and Spritzing

The layout is one that I have seen before but have adapted the colours and papers to suit my photograph, which was taken in 2010 on a trip to Galway.....and being a big kid I had to have my photo taken with the characters at the road show.

Whilst nursing my little brother over the last couple of days I managed to make my swaps for the demonstrator meet today.

Using my Stamp-ma-jig I postioned the Heart stamp from the set in a line across the card, then punched another out using the Postage Stamp punch and used dimensionals to raise it over one of the others. To make it pop even more I used the small single heart punch and a the new Glimmer paper - fantastic glitter paper and it doesn't come off (even when punched).

On this picture I'm giving you a tease of a "product item" that will be avaliable from the 24th of this month.......

Charming

Here is a card that I have made using the Charming stampset on page 6 of the Spring Mini Catalogue.

I challanged myself to use colours that I usually steer away from Always Artichoke and River Rock and the added colour of red is the lucious Cherry Cobbler.

I'm probably rushed of my feet like everyone else, with the hustle and bustle of cooking the Christmas dinner with excited children around your feet squealing with delight about what Santa bought them (i know mine will!!

Todays cards are my favourite....... both use the new Holly Berry Designer Papers and new stampsets the first one being Polar Party.

and the Second one using one of the single stamps Sweet Snowglobe which teams up really nicely with the treat cups.

As you can see from the first picture I have added some fake snow to make it tactile for children, I've also added it into the treat cup and the little girl that recieved that said "WOW"....... I just wish that we could have had a white christmas this year!

I hope that everyone enjoys the rest of their Christmas and Wish you all a Happy New Year !!!

Countdown to Christmas - Day 5

Wow I can't beleive its Christmas Eve already.......doesn't time fly when your having fun!! well I finished my baking yesterday after 9 dozen mince pies and 4 dozen jam tarts, half of which have been whisked away by my dad and little bro!!

Todays Cards that I'm going to share with you are using Pennant Parade and matching punch and a retired stamp set Silent Night (which is an old favourite that I couldn't bare to part with).

For this card I have also used the Top Note die in my Big Shot and added some ribbon around it. The cardstock colours are Whisper White and Real Red, the inks used are Garden Green, Chocolate Chip and Read Red.

As I mentioned early this Stamp set is now retired but its just perfect for the Brayer resist technique which I have used here with Baja Breeze ink. The base card, matting card and Seam binding ribbon are from Stampin' Up!s current colour range - Cherry Cobbler and went well with the paper I found amongst my stash.

I really must play more with my brayer now, the effects are awesome!!

Countdown to Christmas - Day 4

Today I'm going to be rather busy baking mince Pies and jam tarts (for the BIG kids that don't like mince pies). Every time I bake my brothers and other family memebers ALWAYS turn up so I have now learnt to purchase extra supplies of everything!!

Countdown to Christmas - Day 3

Todays cards use one of Stampin' Up!s single stamps Dasher and the sentiment is from the Contempo Christmas stampset.

For this card I have used Bravo Burgundy as my main colour and added Serene snowflakes in Wisteria Wonder and Pink Pirouette adding a little Dazzling Diamonds here and there to the centres. Instead of ribbon I have used Stampin' Up!s new Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch...its ideal as it means you can have ribbon in any colour you like!!

The second card is a case of a card by one of my downline's Vanessa. I like the layout and the manly colours it used making it ideal for some of my customers "man friends".

Countdown to Christmas - Day 2

Todays cards are using one of my all time favourite sets Lovely as a Tree. I made up 2 examples for the ladies to see one using Dazzling Diamonds and the other with out.

Everyone had a lovely evening getting very "blinged up" using Dazzling Diamonds with the Stampin' Up!s Heat and Stick powder. (Even the hostess Washing Machine was very sparkly by the time we had finished!!).

Countdown to Christmas - Day 1

As I'm convalescing at home at the moment and been told to take it easy. (Yep ALL presents are bought, wrapped and under the tree!! ALL the food and drink shopping done well apart from the fresh bits, Frank will have to get those!! first year ever I'm this organised)
I thought that I would share with you some of the Christmas cards that we have been making in my classes over the last few months.

Both of these cards are using the Winter Post stamp set and using mainly the Neutrals card stock and inks - Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and the added colour is Bravo Burgandy from the Regals Collection. I think Dasher looks quite handsome in this colour.

I used 2 of Stampin' Up!s border punches- Lace Ribbon and Scallop Trim and added some pearls in the centre of the Lace ribbon one.

Love and Sympathy

Today I am going to share with you a card that I made for my uncle who sadly lost his wife last month.

This stampset I feel is perfect for this occasion as I am all ways at a loss of a verse to write for the inside of these cards.

I used is Baja Breeze as the base, stamped on Not Quite Navy with corrosponding ink with Enfancis and mounted this on Very Vanilla.

For the flower I used my markers Old Olive and Baja Breeze again on Very Vanilla, all the sentiments are stamped in Not Quite Navy. To finish the card off I have used Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon and some Perfect Pearls

Santa Baby

I've spent the last couple of days getting ready for the Church's Christmas fair!! I love this time of year it brings out the BIG kid in me!!!!!!!!

Here are some of the "Santa book marks" I made using the Owl punch, to make it more fun for the kiddies I used googly eyes and a pom pom.

Scrapbook class

I held my monthly scrapbook class this evening, knowing that I was going to be exhausted from convention I planned tonights class back in October whilst I was away on my retreat.
The ladies got to play with the new Flirtatious Designer Papers as well as using the Flirtatious Fabric to make some flowers..... the back ground of the Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink card stock have been stamped in Versa Mark using the new Delicate Doilies Stampset (which unfortunately the photograph doesn't pick up).

I have had these photos lying around since they where taken back in 2009 and can't for the life of me think why or who sent them to me (But whoever or why I just loved them and thanks again because I know that I would have said that already....... and I know it wasn't Frank as he vowed way back never to buy me flowers!!!!!)

Simple thank you card

Today I'm going to share with you another card that I have made using a Hostess Exlusive Stampset... and it happens to be my favourite set there is sooooooo much that you can do with it.

Here I dusted off my Stamp-ma-Jig to do some 2 step stampin' Ive used Pool Party with Baja Breeze and used my blender pen with Old Olive for the leaves. I put the base card through Big Shot using the Elegant Bouquet Embossing folder and emblished it with some Baja Breeze Seam binding. The sentiment is from the Curvy Verses.

Convention Swaps

Hopefully this is appearing on my blog as I'm in Disneyland Paris at this years Stampin' Up! convention.......today I'm going to share with you one of the swaps that I have done....the rest are from the batch I made for our High Wycombe training (that I left on the kitchen table) and I have previously shared them with you.

I've used both of the purples from the InColours......Wisteria Wonder and Concord Crush, along with whisper white card stock and Concord Crush Designer Paper. Trainers!!!!

When I went to Ashford shopping with Lucy the other week we went into the sports shop and I fell in love with a pair of trainers and all I could think of was the Stampin' Up Colours that they reminded me off...... Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade and Tempting Turquoise!!

I just had to have them, Heidi runs a mile when I wear them so their going to Disneyland with me....

Then when I went away with the girls on our annual Scrapbooking retreat...... I participated in a swap a kit challange..... strangley I got my own kit back.... and it was FANTASTIC as it matched with my new trainers perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I mentioned earlier in this post I'm off to Disneyland Paris for Stampin' Up!s annual european convention, Frank and Heidi are going with me so they'll be catching up with Mickey and friends as well as doing the rides!!!

I will be timing some posts to pop up on my blog whilst we're away.....hopefully they'll come up with out a problem.

Christmas Craft Day...............

Sorry I haven't been around recently but I've been busy getting ready for my Christmas Craft day that was held today. I believe a fun time was had by all who attended............. I know I certainley enjoyed myself!!!

All 14 ladies were kept really busy with 3 projects this morning followed by making 30 Christmas cards after lunch and an extra Bonus project should they have finished all those before 4pm......and yes they got there!! Well Done Ladies.

Now I'm going to share with you one of the Projects that we made an "Advent Calander"

Using the "Diaper Fold" we made 24 for little pockets from the Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Papers, for the chocolate Santa's to stand in. As these are on the small side the numbers were computer generated and punched out with the 3/4" Circle punch. We then added some eyelets and Wild Wasibi Wide Striped Ribbon to hang it with.

Amy I hope you like it, when your back from Uni later this month its ready and waiting for you to take it back with you.

Double Scrapbook page layout

Today I'm sharing with you double page layout I did using Stampin' Up!s Just Add Cake new designer papers along with the new Pennant Parade Stamp set and matching Punch.

Some of you where lucky enough to see it a Biggin Hill, as I rushed to get it finished in time for the display I didn't have time to do my journalling which will go on the baja breeze and whisper white semi circles.....

I did teach this layout at my scrapbook class this wednesday and they enjoyed the fun layout and just loved the Pennant Parade Stamp set and punch......." it goes really well" I do have to add that they did take the cheats way out and pretended to stitch the bunting together......mine is sewn by hand...about as far as I go though.

Halloween........

Here are a couple of items that I did for the display at Biggin Hill for Halloween.

The Bat card used the following punches - Owl, Decorative Label, Scallop Oval, Large Oval and 1 3/8" Circle. The card stock colours where Basic Black,Basic Gray, Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive.

The banner idea was from a good friend of mine Bekka, using the new Frightful Sight papers cut with the new Perfect Pennants Sizzix Die and the sentitment "BOO" was made using the Broadsheet Alaphabet stamp set.

And the trick or treat bag ghost where made with the oval punches mentioned earlier.

I hope my visitors like them ........

Just recovering from Biggin Hill !!!

On Sunday Vanessa one of my team and myself took part in the "Sincerley Yours" Show at Biggin Hill. Its an event that takes place there twice a year....... we worked really hard to get the display boards updated especially as Stampin' Up! had released their 2011/2012 Idea Book & Catalogue on the 1st of October.

I have a very talented customer Jude who kindly made the lovelly bag on our display using the new Flirtatious Fabrics.......I'm not that good with needle and thread and she did a fantastic job.....Thanks Jude.

Easy Events

Below is a picture of some swaps that I made for our High Wycombe Training using the new stamp set that was avlaiable to us as demonstrators on Pre Order........Easy Events

My customers got to play with this set on my Catalogue launch on the 1st of October.... We stamped the images using Stazon and then coloured the images using Stampin' Up! Blender pens. We then emblished them with ribbon, flowers punched from the Itty Bitty Punch set and of course some pearls and bling!!

Can you name the New InColours we used...........Pool Party, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Claypso Coral and Wistera.

I don't know about you ladies but I'm still drooling over the new Catalaogue......those just so much I want, need and must have.......what about you??? not sure how you can afford it all in one go then I may just have the soloution for you.

I must admit this is one of my favourite Christmas sets and I will be very sad to see it go from Stampin' Up! s collection at the end of the month.

Here I've used it with some of the retiring papers from the Jolly Holiday collection, Very Vanilla and Real Red Card Stock. Also some Taffeta Ribbon in Real Red again which is retiring at the end of the month.

I made him sparkly by adding glitter to his nose and added a Gem to the wording from this set.

As you know today is the day the GSCE results were released to the pupils and Heidi was one of those who was a bag or nerves last night and a bear with a sore head this morning until she received her's.

I'm so proud of her she got an A*, an A and the rest were B's.......so I just had to rush home and make that card for her (something else that didn't get done on my to do list in time)

It uses the Owl Punch, Scallop Circle Punch (for the wings), lattice embossing folder, taffetta and satin ribbon and the sentiment is from the Cheers and Wishes set..........now I only have to decide which colour to give her!!!!!!

Here is a card I made on Saturday using one of the hostess sets "Because I Care" from the main Catalogue.

I stamped the image with Versa Mark and then used my stampin pastels to colour the image and fixed with hairspray so it wouldn't smudge. I've then mounted it on Rich Razzleberry Cardstock and Pear Pizzaz Designer paper another Gift thats avaliable for hostesses of a Stampin' Up! workshop. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations.

The post man woke me up about 8am with a ring on the door bell and gave me a long package and wished me a " Happy Birthday"

Amy and Victor sent me this lovely bunch of caranations for my birthday tomorrow..... and had addressed it to the "birthday girl Sue"

Christmas came early........

I've been a really bad blogger recently and something just have to give, but hopefully things have calmed down and I'm back home so you should see regular postings from me........ and for those of you that don't know its my birthday month so please be sure to pop back for my "Birthday Blog Candy"

Another reason I haven't blogged was because I have been busy preparing for my "Christmas in July" Saturday special class. Lots of fun was had by the ladies, they came into Mickey & co singing Christmas Carols to them. We had light refreshments but the cook was unable to produce any mince pies :o(

Here is one of the cards that we made in total we made 4 different cards and 3 other projects.

Today I'm going to share with you a couple of cards that I taught my ladies at one of my card classes.
My ladies have a fear of bows so I thought that I would spend some time showing/teaching them different ways of tying bows......

As my ladies took their places they looked a little puzzled at the sight of a dinner fork in front of them but they were really pleased at the out come and how simple it was to make this bow.

I had a couple of spare sets left over so a couple took them home to finish off.....one of them my best friend texted me at 12.30 in the morning really pleased with being able to do it all on her own, picture as well!!

The supplies used was Chocolate Chip and Certainly Celery Cardstock, Certainly Celery Taffeta Ribbon, Chocolate Chip Ink, Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper from the main catalogue and from the Mini Catalogue Four Frames Stampset and the matching Decorative Label Punch.

Colour Coach Blog Hop

Today I'm going to share with you 2 cards that I made with you for the Charity event both using the Colour Coach as a guide especially I knew I was participating in this "Colour Coach Blog Hop"

This is a handy little tool which I certainly wouldn't be with out now!!

This first one is using Sahara Sand, Pink Pirouette and Bravo Burgundy. The punches used are the 13/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches.

This second card that I came up with based on an idea given to me by the lovely Bekka (who's blog can be found here to make cards using a "One sheet Wonder" at the Chairty event.

I so wanted to use Daffodil Delight on one of the cards so using my trusty Colour Coach I looked up a combination and came up with this one that I really liked, Marina Mist, Pretty in Pink and Daffodil Delight. The Sentiment for this card can be found in the Curly Cute Stampset.

Another Strength and Hope Card

This card didn't actually make it to the charity event as I decided to keep it for my husband Frank as its our aniversary today.............can't beleive that its 22 years!!

The colours used are Real Read, Basic Black and Whisper White. I've also raised the butterfly on with Dimensionals and emblished it with some "Bling".

Franks Birthday Card

Today I've taken a break from sharing with you the Strength and Hope cards from saturday and wanted to show you the card that I made for Franks birthday on Sunday.. yes I did go home and make it on Saturday evening ladies and even surprised myself at how quick I did it as well.

Here I've used the Sense of Time stamp set, its one that I always seem to forget that I have, along with the Oval All set. The Sense of Time has been stamped onto Natural Ivory paper in Soft Suede and edged to make it look aged. I then matted this on to Baja Breeze Card stock with some Designer Paper. I then Stamped a clock image on to a piece of Baja Breeze punched out a 1" circle and then added some Crystal Effects to give it some depth.

Frank was really chuffed with it !!

The card on the right of the picture is the card that I designed for the charity event, Mel one of my friends who attended came up with the varation on the left hand side.

These cards use Whisper White, Crumb Cake and one of the new In Colours Blushing Bride. The butterflies have been emblished with perfect pearls and you can also see that we used the Eyelet border and Scallop Edged border Punch.

This card was made with 2 colours that I haven't used for a very long time......Elegant Eggplant and Pale Plum along with my new found favourite Pink Pirouette.

The strip of Designer paper is from the Lap of Luxury pack and of course I just had to use another new favourite stamp set " Four Frames" and the matching punch. The sentiment is from the Love you Much Set.

Yesterday was the Charity Card Making Event that I organised in aid of Breast Cancer Research and Harris HospicCare. The Afternoon began with the ladies arriving at 1pm and receiving their bag of goodies....

Here is a picture of one of the workstations that was set up for them in total there where 6 different cards for them to make most of them they made twice once for them and the other for our chosen charities. As Breast Cancer Research do not have shops we decided to donate their cards to the Cancer Research Shop in Orpington and will take the other half along to the Harris Hospice Centre.

We then got really busy for the rest of the afternoon as you can see from the pictures here.......

I have to give a big thankyou to Vanessa (my downline) who sat with Gemma, our youngest attendee at 10yrs and gave her excellent 1 to 1 care...... Thanks Vanessa.

My Girl's insisted that I had my photo taken ( usually I duck out of them) just before we drew the raffle.......

We were very lucky as 3 local companies donated prizes Nando's in Orpingtion, The Croft Tea Rooms and Bromley My time.

The day was a big success as we raised a total of £125.00 (to be split between the 2 Charities) and a total of 65 cards!!!!!!!!

Sorry I did think that I would manage to post some other projects but life is hectic at the moment as Amy is home from Uni and I'm getting ready for my Charity Event this Saturday.

But here is the Mini Accordian Book that my ladies completed at their class tonight, it uses Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Espresso and Whisper White card stock, ink and seam binding ribbons.

The stamp sets used are Vintage Vogue and Punch Bunch (a level 1* hostess set) along with the vintage roller, which is versa marked to give a watermark effect on the Baja Breeze base and embossed with white embossing powder on the white front panel. Sorry the camera can't show this very well but the effect is beautiful.

The Filgree Brads are an elegant touch, I used the F from the broadsheet alphabet set as it could stand for family or friend.

also I just love the way that the Punch Bunch set co-ordinates with the matching punches...... it makes life so easy. Both the hearts and birds are all embossed using the Craft white ink and white embossing powder.

The second charity is personal to me as they have helped nurse several of my friends at the end of their lives.

Today I thought I would share a card with you that I made last weekend, using the Top note Die, my beloved Owl punch and sentiment from a level 2 Hostess set from the Mini catalogue.

The card stock colours used are Wild Wasabi, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo and Early Espresso.

Today I held one of my "Sataurday Special Classes" where my ladies get the chance to either just pay for the class or purchase a bundle and get the class free. This time we used the "Just Beleive" stampset to make a total of 7 cards.

River Rock is a colour that I hardly use and I was pleasently surprised at how well it went with Marina Mist and Basic Black.

This was my ladies favourites!!

We used Shimmer Card stock stamped with Crumb Cake, then added Heat n Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamons using the "Stamp a Jig". The sentiment is from a level hostess gift in the Mini Catalogue.

My next Saturday Special is on the 25th June, which is also my Charity Event raising monies for both Breast Cancer Research and Harris Hospice Care.......so be sure to contact me to book your place!!

Charity Card Making Event

All profits from the event and a minimum donation of £2 per person who attends will go to Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Harris HospisCare. During this fun packed session we will be making cards not only for ourselves, but also for Harris hospice care and cancer charities.

knowing that I'm a demonstrator and make cards, my daughters friend asked me if I would make her daughters 1st Birthday Card. The only requirement she asked for was it should be "PINK", I then gave my daughter a third degree and found out that the cake was to be themed and was going to be a castle.

I then put my thinking cap on and this is what I created using Blushing Bride cardstock, ink, designer papers and the sanded background stamp.

I'm really proud to be the owner of a Stampin' Up! Big shot.....(Thanks to my hubby) I did get some comments saying "Ohh I like it in Black" " not seen a Black one"

So here's a quick picture of the items I demo'd on Sunday at Biggin Hill using the Big Shot and some of Stampin' Up!s Exclusive dies and embossing folders from Sizzix.

The first item I demo'd was a book mark, using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die (£10.50) which not only cuts the butterflies out but embosses them at the same time.

The second item I demo'd was the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder (£6.95) having run it throught the Big Shot and just using a dauber to add colour to the embossed areas (Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery) Ladies where very impressed at how quick and simple it was to make a simple but elegant card.

The last item I demo'd was "Fun Flowers" a Bigz L Die (£28.95) I even run some that I cut out through some of the other embossing folders to add texture to them. This is great for making flowers of all different colours and sizes especially for your scrapbook pages.

I do have to say that I got the idea for the bookmark from another demonstrator but unfortunaltey I don't happen to remember her name.

Biggin Hill

Well what can I say but a BIG "Thank You" to all of you that popped by and visited our stall on Sunday. It was great to catch up with old customers, meet new people and of course other demonstrators that made themselves known to us.

I thought I would share with you today some of the pictures we took at the event ~

This is the "Frank" half of frankiesue ~ he was a there on both days and a great help both setting up and packing up as well as ensuring that we were all fed and watered, especially as it was sooo hot in the venue.

Here are the display's, every thing was ready with 15 mins to spare before the doors opened, we were all a little nervous by now as it was our first event.

but we all managed a smile before the doors opened!!

It got sooooo busy that I forgot to take pictures of Vanessa and Chirs doing their Demo's they both did a fantastic job and I do know how nervous they both were!!!!

I also need to say thankyou to 2 other people and that is Bekka, for all her support behind the scenes (she's my adoptive SU mummy) and to Maraget my other downline who helped out with our "make n take" so the girls could have a break........ THANK YOU ladies

Tri Shutter Album

Tonight I held my monthly Scrapbook class and instead of doing some "pages" we made a "Tri Shutter" Album using Stampin' Up!s Elegant Soiree Designer papers.

On the Cover I've used some chipboard letters for the Alphabet Soup selection, coloured them with Baja Breeze ink and then clear embossed them (yes, Amy this is for you). I used Soft Suede and Baja Breeze Card stock and Marina Mist Stripped Ribbon.

My ladies had fun and although they were given the same papers they ALL decorated theirs differently!!

Scrapping with Stampin' Up! as promised

Sorry for the delay in posting this pictures....... I did promise to show you pictures of my scrapbook pages I made using the new Springtime Vintage Designer Papers and seeing as my event was on Saturday here they are.......

For this first layout I've used a patch work of the "Blue" shades of papers, I've emblished it using the delious Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon along with a flower from one of Stampin' Up!s New Big Dies. The photo's are from when Heidi went out for the day with here friends.

For the second layout I've used an older photo and made it have a vintage feel using a darker background Always Artichoke and used the "Pink" shades of paper. Again I've used the New Flower die and Seam Binding ribbon to emblish the page.

And yes that is me in the photograph I when I was ten days old........

I would like to take this opportunity to THANK the ladies that attended my Mini Catalouge Launch on Saturday, I hope you enjoyed your selves I know I did (sorry I forgot to take my camera so no pictures this time).

I must admit that this wasn't one of the stamp sets that took my fancy in the Mini, but having taken it out of the packet and mounting it I found my self liking it more and more......... and the matching Designer Papers are just delicous!!!

I must admit that I got the idea of the little dresses from one of my downlines, its made using the Scallop Circle Punch....

The colours I choose matched with the Designer Papers - Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango. Just got to write labels for these and bag them up for the Stampin' Up! event tomorrow.

Build a Blossom

I wanted to share these cards with you that I made using the NEW Build a Blossom Stamp set and matching punch the other day from the Mini Catalogue, but didn't think it would be fair on the ladies who attend my card classes.....so seeing as they had their class this evening I can share them with you now.

This is the first time that I have used these two In Colours Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade, I was pleasantly suprised as to how nice they were to work with.

Did you notice that I used one of Stampin' Up!'s New Embossing folders... I can't wait to play with the others toooooooooo

One for the Men

I made this card for my Dad who's birthday it is today "Happy Birthday Dad" (so couldn't post it yesterday). This brings back memories for me as he used to have a red motorbike and would often take me out for a spin on it.

This card is made using the Motorcycle stamp in the new Mini catalogue which can be found on page 30 and as you can see I've cased the card but used different colours and added some Crystal Effects to make the body of the bike shinny.

Sorry I lost my Mojo for about a week, think the overload of ALL the new items in the Mini had something to do with it.........so much to choose from.

Its the 1st of April and all of us Stampin' Up! demonstrators can NOW share with you this years MINI CATALOGUE!!!

We're all so excited as we got the Big Shot along with some some exclusive dies, embosslits and embossing folders that we've all been dreaming of for ages............ along with loads other delicous goodies which I will share with you over the next few days......

For the moment I'm going to share with you a card that I made using a new stamp set called "Strength and Hope" (£1.00 from each set sold will go to Breast Cancer research) which can be found on page 31

Card ingredents ~ Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red and Crumb Cake card stock, Rose Red and Crumb Cake Ink and emblished it using Perfect Pearls and Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon.

Heres a sneek peek at my up coming Saturday Special Watercolour Class ~ 26th March 12.30-4pm.

Here is a picture of one of the cards that my ladies made at their card class this month.

We used the Ornate Flower stamp set along with the Gala Designer (which is on special offer this month see the March Frenzy Flyer).

This is the first time they had used the Scallop Border Corner and Scallop Border Punches together, they just loved it.

Today I hosted my first team meeting for my team of downlines "Paper Daises", above is a picture of their goodie bag which was filled with different bits and bobs to help them on their journey with Stampin' Up!

We had a good natter, cups of coffee, loads of laugh's before we got our hands dirty and did some stamping!!!!

A Sense of Time....

I've had this set for a little while and again hadn't shown it an Ink pad until today. I was asked by our Church Wardens to make the Vicar a card for his upcoming retirement. So I thought that this was the perfect excuse to get the set dirty!!!

The background paper is from the Growing Green Designer paper collection and the sentiment is one I computer generated as I didn't have one large enough for the card as its an A4 card.

I decided to set myself a challange this weekend and that was to take part in a sketch challange (this is that can be found over at Sketch N Stash) and use a stamp set that I hadn't used ( I know its bad and its not the only one either).

The stamp is one from the Hopeful Thoughts Stamp set. I've use Certainly Celery as the base colour, along with some Wild Wasabi Designer paper from the Subtles Paper stack. Instead of using a buckle I decided to tie a bow in the delicous Stampin' Up!s Organza Ribbon.

I've left the sentiment off so that I can add it as and when I send the card.

For this weeks card class I used one of my favourite stamp sets Garden Whimsy. Here is one of the cards the ladies made..............

A twisted easel card........I do admit that I cased the lovelly frill idea from Monica. The colour combo I have used is Whisper white, Melon Mambo and Regal Rose.

toy from Stampin' Up! as I've recently landed a job I thought I'd treat myself to the New Colour Spritzer Tool........its just fab and back grounds are so quick and easy to do as you can see on this Valentines Card that I made.

I used my favourite pink at the moment Pink Pirouette as a base and using my spritzer tool added colour with Red Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette and Cherry Cobler. I then matted and layed my image after using my blender pens and added a small punched heart on dimensons over the flower.

It was so quick and simple but very effective, off to play some more..........

Its that time of the year when all of us Stampin' Up! demonstrators and our customers are really excited with the stamp sets that Stampin' Up! are offering FREE with purchases over £45.00.

Many of us OWL lovers are especially excited as we now know that the Owl punch is coming in the new Mini catalogue that is due out in April. How do we know well one of the Free stamp sets on offer is Punch Bunch and you can't have a stamp in that set without a punch now can you??

So for my first sample on this blog hop I've used the lovely fellow along with some celebrations designer paper and quick accents to create this Scrapbook page (Typical me haven't added a title or journaling yet!)

For my second sample I've used the Bliss stamp set as well as I {Heart} Hearts. This is the first time I've used this set, I wasn't to keen on it but its quickly becoming a firm favourite, I've used the large swirl as a back ground on the middle panel (you make have to click on it to get a closer look) and I'm just loving this new border punch and the lovely ribbon with the edging.

Here I've used the "Owl" from the Punch Bunch set. Isn't he soooooo adorable......... along with one of the sentiments form the So Happy for you set.

Although we haven't got this punch yet it will be arriving in Stampin' Up!s Mini-Catalogue which is launched in April.........I'm wishing it was April already as I can't wait to play with this 2 step punch.

I've used Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette Card stock, the leaves have been punched using the 2 step bird punch in soft suede. And I'm just loving the new border punch....

As promised I'm going to share with you a creation that I made using a template that can be found over on Bekka's Blog, I adjusted the dimensions so that my goodies fitted into the little bags.......they are so quick and simple to make ( I made 10 for some special ladies).

As you can see I decorated them using the "For you" stamp from the Punch Bunch Stamp set from this years Sale-a-bration collection.

The other suplies used are: Soft Subtles Paper Stack, scraps of co-ordinating cards stock and ribbon, Tab Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Crop-o-dile, Tombow glue and Stampin' Up Markers.

I just LOVE these pictures that Heidi and her friend Emma took on a visit to Ikea. So much so that I scrapped them with my Swap-a-challange kit from our retreat.

I still don't know who put my kit together but I just loved the papers and emblishments, THANK YOU. The layouts just came to me by looking at the papers, surprised myself by not using sketches for a change.

Here is last weeks layout that I completed with my Scrapbook class.

As soon as I saw the new Stampin' Up! designer papers Greenhouse Gala I knew exactly which photo I was going to use, one taken at my friend Vicki's wedding to Sam in May of this year.

I have emblished my layout using the new Stitched ribbon Pear Pizzazz and retired clear buttons coloured using Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip card stock.

Convention

Wow I've just got back from this years Stampin' Up! Convention which was held at Addington Palace.

Heres a picture of Shelli and myself just before I went into Memento Mall.

I had a fantastic time, swapping ideas and learning new techniques. The speakers were really inspirational and I can't wait to put some of the ideas that I have spinning around my head into practice.

I was also really lucky to recieve on of the prizes on prize patrol. It was the Make a Monster stampset,I was umming and rrrrring over getting this set but after seeing some of the fab projects on the display boards couldn't wait to get home and order it.......well I can spend the pennies on other stash now.......LOL

We did 4 make and takes using the two stampsets that we recieved in our fabby convention bags Party Time and Just Beleive. I'll share these with you a bit later as I need to go and spend some time with my hubby and daughter especially as I want to keep in their good books.......yes I really want to go to next years convention......well it is in Paris!!!

Fantastic Weekend

I've just recovered from a fab weekend with 18 lovely ladies, Scrapping!!

We participated in classes sharing ideas with each other, a Weekend challenge, hour challenges, sketch challenges as well as dressing up in pink and raising money for Breast Cancer.

Here is a sketch challenge that I completed using Stampin' Up! s Delicious Lap of Luxury Designer papers, which co-ordinate with the Style Beautiful stamp set which I have used. The card stock colours are Concord Crush and Pretty in Pink. I have also used the new Scallop Trim border punch.

Over the next few day's I'll be sharing more of my creations with you, so be sure to pop back and have a browse.

Catalogue launch

I'd like to thank all the ladies for attending my Catalogue Launch on Saturday, I hope you enjoyed yourselve's as much as I did.

We did two make and takes, a christmas card using the new Contempo christmas stampset, along with the delicous Jolly Holiday Designer papers and a little bag that can be used as a tree or table decoration (which I must give credit to Carol, who's designed I was allowed to use, Thanks Carol)

I'd also like to thank Lucy for all her help on the day, she was a little star serving tea's and coffee's as well as walking customers back to the bus stop so they didn't get lost. If any one know's my daughters they know that they don't craft so it was great to see Lucy making something!!
