Here is the inside of the card, using  the verse that is in the Love and Sympathy set.

Be sure to pop back tomorrow for a sneak peak from the New catalogue.

For today's blog post I would like to share with you some gift sets that I made to sell at some craft fairs they make a great gift.

These little Decorative Window gift boxes where easy to decorate - which I did using the Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch.

Inside these gift boxes are tea light that I decorated again using the Petite Petals stamp set. (I will let you into a little secret I did another 100 of these tealights  at the same time for my church's Sunday school for mothers day).

The matching  card uses one of the sentiments from the Perfectly Penned stamp set (which is retiring) and has been stamped and cut out using on of the framelits from the Apothecary Accents set.

Watch out for tomorrows Weekly Deals.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Here are the other two layouts that we did last month using the Kaleidoscope DSP.

On this first layout I have used the Scallop Edge Border Punch on the Glimmer paper behind the DSP and used a white gel pen to doodle some patterns on to the black card stock. I love this picture of my little sis.

I love the bright vibrant colours in this collection of dsp, and here have used the patterns in the paper to pull your focus onto the centre circle of Strawberry Slush card stock. In case your wondering these pictures where taken in Ireland and you have to wear swimming hats in their pools.

Remember that there are only 16 days of our current catalogues left, to place your order before its tooooooo late.

In the Stars birthday card

Here is another card that we made in class using the Simply Stars stamp set.

For this card we first cut a smaller piece of Whisper White card stock and ran it through the Arrows Textured Impressions Embossing folder and the adhered it to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals. We then stamped stars in Marina Mist and Crushed Curry inks before cutting them out, we punched out the smaller ones from the Brushed Silver card stock. The sentiment is from the hostess set Banner Greetings we arranged them along the bottom of the embossed card before adhering them with snail or stampin' dimensionals......

I wasn't sure how my ladies would take to another "Star card" especially as the last one took them a wee while to make........but they loved it.

Sadly these stamp sets are on the retirement list and the wooden "Simply Stars" set has already sold out, remember if there is anything on the list that you were thinking about ordering you really should do before its to late and you regret it.

and for those of you who saw my WOYWW post yesterday.........this is the result of my efforts and yes Charlie there is your card and prezzies............HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

This week I would like to share with you a couple of layouts that we did last week at Scrapbook Club using Stampin' Up!s Kaleidoscope designer series paper.

This first layout is again of the Happy Couple, I used a black and white photo as it showed off the colourful confetti I made using the circle from the Itty Bitty Shape Pack.

And on this second layout I decided I wanted to use the black and white sides of the papers. I've mounted the photo on the lovely Silver Gimmer paper. The sentiment used on this layout can be found in the Just Sayin stamp set and is cut out using the co ordinating framelits - Word Bubble.

The Kaleidoscope DSP is now on the retirement list along with all the other Current Designer Series Papers, be sure to order yours before its to late...
