Tilda and her puppy

Here's another of my new Alota stamps (the basket). I couldn't wait for this to arrive from the States, it took around 5 days which I thought was fantastic!!

Here I've used my favourite Tilda at the moment, I think the puppy is soooooooo cute. The sentiment is form Elyzbells and I've added a flowers at the bottom and jazzed up the bow with some stickles, the papers are from papermaina.

Tilda at the wishing well

This card I made using my new stamp from Alota (the wishing well) and sitting fall tilda from Magnolia. I coloured the images with watercolours. I then added some glossy accents on the bucket to make it shine and some flowersoft to the ivy on the wishing well.

Edwin

Here is a card that I made using my cricut and the accent cartridge for the base and layering papers. The stamp was a gift from my good friend Sue along with the button mushroom. I have several Tildas but no Edwins until now.

All Boy

I've been trying to use this photograph for ages in my scrap book!

Its of my darling husband taken 26 years ago, it was on of those taken in a photo booth which I scanned, cropped and enlarged on the computer.
My daughters keep giggling.......... I wonder why???

Friday challange

I was given a challange to make a card using a particular layout found here and using the colours blue and brown.

I looked through my stash and came up with this RAK'd image and my Granny's kitchen papers. The sentitment by Elyzbells is stamped in Vintage sepia.

Getting more creative

I wanted to make a special card for a special friend, so here I've used one of my favourite Elyzbells image and enhanced it by using my cricut to cut out the hearts and swirl, along with ribbons and gems.
Looking at the results I think it will be used a lot more from now on........

Valentines

This is the card I made up at the last minute for my darling husband.

I used a penny black image and papers from papermaina. I had bought a different stamp to use but unfortunately I misplaced it and still can't find it...... lol well at least I can use it next year.

Touched by kindness...........

all the way from Kansas!!

Here is a picture of their state flower's "sunflower's" which were sent to sent to me from
Cheryl (aka Shadoob).

I was in shock as I opened the package (I've never received flowers through interflora before), infact I have to admit I was in tears after I read the beautiful message inside.

Cheryl they certainly did bring a ray of sunshine to Kent....... THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!

Get well soon ~ card swap

On the "shack" I signed up for a Get well card swap, I never had one to hand when I need one. Here's what I came up with using a layout that I found on sheet load and using up some of my stash of papers and cardstock in my collection.

The stamp is from a hobby craft set which was a gift from my good friend Sue (aka Artyfarty).
I coloured the image using my caran dache water colour pencils and added a little bit of stickles on butterfly which isn't showing up in the photograph.
