WOYWW # 207

I have missed WOYWW for a couple of weeks as I haven't been too well as you can see from the mess on my desk it's more like a dumping ground at the moment.

On the left hand side you can see one of the two wedding cards that I have been making over the past week, for some unknown reason there happens to be a pack of cake cases put on there along with my favourite crafting snacks "kit kat" and I can assure that they wouldn't be there if I was 100% better. At the back of the table is a nice vase of flowers given to me by Julia the bride of last weeks wedding (hubby was best man). Then at the front there are just piles of bits and pieces of projects that need tidying away before I can play.

If you popped over the other week I was in the process of making birthday cards for ladies at church and had the men's to make and here is what I came up with

I used the Ciao Baby stamp set from Stampin' Up! along with the Parkers Patterns DSP and the Petite Curly Label Punch.

Thanks for passing by today, I'm going put my feet up  and have a coffee whilst I snoop around some other WOYWW desks, before I start tackling the mess!!

Biggin Hill Craft Show

I know this is post is a little later in the day than I expected, but I was so shattered I forgot to upload my photo's Sunday night after the show and have spent most the day catching up with house work and tidying up the craft mess.

I firstly have to thank 3 of my team for their help yesterday, they did some great demonstrations. A special thank you also goes to  Charlie (another Stampin' Up! demonstrator) for helping me out with some of the display items, I couldn't have done it without their help!

Here's Michelle, giving the table a quick once over before the show is open to the public. Michelle demonstrated 2 step stampin with the Stamp m a Jig.

And this is Mel, putting out the prize draw forms. Mel demonstrated the Simply Scored Tool and all the boards that co ordinate with it.

And last but not least Kim showing people how to make flowers using the Big Shot, Floral Frames Framlits and Filter paper.

The lucky lady who won our Prize Draw was.............

Sally Irvin

If you didn't make the show and wish to see these items demonstrated  or any other Stampin' Up! items then why not book a workshop/party email me at sue@frankiesuestampin.com to arrange a date and time that suits us both.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Today I'm with some of my team are demonstrating at the Sincerely Yours Paper Craft show at Biggin Hill. So I'm hoping that this post goes up as scheduled, especially as  I've missed a couple of weeks due to ill health.

Today's page uses papers from the Sunshine and Sprinkle DSP pack, I've also have stamped on a piece of filter paper to create a background and used a variety of different punches - Scallop Circles, Butterflies, Boho Blossom. by adding the Decorative Clips it gives the illusion of a washing line.

Tomorrow I'll share with you some pictures from todays event, meanwhile have a great Sunday whatever you get up too.

The Bride and Groom

Yesterday Frank and I went to our friends wedding Nigel and Julia, we had a fantastic time, Frank's speech (as he was best man) went down really well and the fireworks topped the evening off lovely.

So today I will share with you the card I made for them, it took be a couple of days as I haven't been very well but luckily I made it to their big day.

The main image is a Penny Black stamp which I coloured in with my pro markers, using circle dies I then matted this on Pink Pirouette card stock, which I used to make the co ordinating box as well.  The Lace, "Love" ticket and the larger roses came from Stampin' Up!s Artisan Embellishment Kit from the Spring Summer Catalogue.

The Flower here on the lid of the box is made using the Stampin' Up!s filter paper and the Floral Frames Framelits, which have been lightly inked in pink pirouette. And to add the final touch I used he "Mr & Mrs" and "Love" sentiments from the Tiny Tags stamp set and co ordinating Jewelery Tag Punch.

Well I must get a move on as tomorrow its the Biggin Hill craft show and I have loads still to prepare........ hope to see you there

Happy Stampin'

Sue
